Stayed with kids

The room felt quite old and had a noticeable musty smell. There was also a significant amount of dust in the room, and I could see dust particles floating in the air. During my stay, my skin became irritated and itchy, which may have been related to the room environment. I hope the hotel can improve its cleaning standards, especially by vacuuming more thoroughly and addressing the musty odor. This would make the stay much more comfortable for future guests.

Stayed with family

The staff was very helpful calling taxis for us. The hotel was busy, and my floor was loud. Some families allowing children to run the halls and people having full, loud conversations in the hallways at night. The breakfast buffet was amazing and had a wonderful view of Mt. Fuji. I had a Mt. Fuji view room, but with a roller coaster in the view. I was not expecting that. Still nice to see Mt. Fuji upon waking.

Great property, the area generally shuts down after sunset so was great to have a hotel that had a great dinner & breakfast option. Good location too just minutes in a cab from the station.

We had a fantastic stay at HOTEL MYSTAYS Fuji Onsen Resort. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, spoke excellent English, answered all of our questions, and provided detailed directions, recommendations, and helpful tips that really enhanced our Mt. Fuji experience. Waking up to stunning Mt. Fuji views from our room was absolutely amazing and one of the highlights of our trip. This was also one of the few hotels we found that could accommodate 4 people in one room with a guaranteed Mt. Fuji view, which was a huge plus for us. The location is excellent, the staff were wonderful, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend HOTEL MYSTAYS Fuji Onsen Resort to anyone visiting the Mt. Fuji area.

Hotel was really nice, very clean and spacious. They provided pyjamas, toothbrushes and other free amenities that you can collect at the reception area which was top quality. Only thing missing was Mt Fuji which was not visible for the two days we stayed which would have been an incredible view from our window. You can either walk from Kawaguchiko Station for 20mins or take the local bus which is a 5 minute ride to Asakasa which leaves you directly infront of the hotel. Would definitely recommend!
