Fantastic Beautiful historic building with convenient parking right in downtown. We loved the room, spacious, clean and modern. Breakfast was simple but good. Staff friendly and front desk lady gave helpful directions to get to hotel as nearby streets were closed to traffic.

Fantastic We had a wonderful stay at The Murray Premises Hotel in St. John's. The building is beautiful and full of character, and despite its age, everything was exceptionally clean. We didn't see a single bug during our stay, which was impressive for such a historic property. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location couldn't be better—right in the heart of downtown with easy access to great shops, restaurants, and attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Great staff, clean and spacious rooms, well located to amenities in the town.
No restaurant on site, but plenty in the vicinity. Breakfast provided is fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice and pastry.
We would return.

Below average Our room had another woman’s underwear on the floor when we arrived! Even worse, our room was cleaned twice, and no one noticed it. Absolutely disgusting!
The sad part is this was our honeymoon:(
To make matters worse, they did nothing to compensate us for the cost of our room. They said there was nothing they could do because we booked through Expedia.
The front desk staff also lacked basic knowledge about the hotel’s room rates and the main tourist attractions in the area.
This was worse than a 1-star hotel. DO NOT BOOK HERE! Book at Alo it is right beside the main downtown 1 min walk.
Erica the night desk clerk who works at night is amazing. She knew her stuff and had excellent customer service.
