Stayed with family

The property has a terrible regard to cleanliness and comfort of their guests. Too many cleanliness issues from the room, to their restaurant even in its public area to get to the guest rooms. Shame because the beach is great for swimming, calm waters and great sand. The pool is not bad at all as well. Other than those two, I would not recommend this property to anyone who wants to go to Bintan for a quick R&R - not only that its more than an hour from the terminal, the property is just not comfortable.

The pool and beach are amazing. Other than that, the property’s focus on cleanliness and comfort of their guest is close to zero. Sanitation is really poor and As a guest you can see how cleanliness is not important to the hotel management. I can go on and on with specifica but I’d rather not. It’s sister property, Bintan Agro has Oceania Spa and its a must try! The best spa, massage view I’ve ever had!

There is literally only this resort in that area. No massage place or restaurants. If you just want to stay indoor and relax, it could be a nice place.

Welcoming vibe upon arrival and also a warm farewell from the staff upon departure. Served request accordingly. Pleased with that. But the phone from the room need to work on as has been calling for room service but nobody ans. So i need to head down to order any food. Breakfast was alright. Service is very welcoming and is a pleasant stay, its a place to get out of city area and just relax looking at scenery of the beach. Would come back again!

Great
The resort is literally on the beach so it is a great view from the room balcony - you can hear the waves and see the ocean on your doorstep. The room was very clean and in nice condition, along with the nice size bathroom. The swimming pool was good and staff were friendly. They have a partner hotel 5 minutes way where you can get decent priced massages at. They arrange pick up and drop off at certain times which is useful. The menu was fairly limited for me as a vegetarian but the food they had was good and big portion sizes. WiFi was not good on the first day but after that worked fairly well. It is quiet in the morning and evening but quite busy in the afternoon when a coach load of tourists come from another hotel to use the pool and chill out. Unfortunately they don't let you swim in the ocean even though it is right on the doorstep. I guess this is because the currents were strong, but it looked fine to me. Overall, the resort is very nice but apart from beach, pool and massages, there isn't much to do. That's not the hotel's fault, I think that is just Bintan in general

Breathing taking views. Helpful staff. Do note that the resort does not have a spa and sports facility, you have to go to the neighbouring resorts. limited dining and alcoholic beverages option as well.

Overall it was an alright stay. As other reviews have stated, the hotel is directly targeted to the Chinese traveler... The biggest issue was lack of food choices on the menu. Leaving us to actually venture down to another resort. There is nothing close by or around the resort. So you are pretty much stuck there with lack of food/over priced activities ran through another Chinese owned business. Room was decent and property clean, but if you are a western traveler wanting to stay in the area... stay at Trikora next door or Spa VIlle...

The breakfast is the worst of all the places I have ever been to. Food are cold and they only serve vegetables, fried or tempura vegetable most of the time. Our last day, they served a shrimp dish but its just the head of the shrimp. I would appreciate even if its just beans! But they dont have any western food except for cereal which the milk is already room temp. Not even warm or cold. The staff are friendly and excellent though most cant understand English. But theyre very acommodating. The location is quite far from the other resorts. 1 hr shuttle from the terminal so not really worth it.

The hotel is new and nicely designed. The staff are great and genuinely kind. It is right on the beach, with an infinity pool, but unfortunately the sea is too rough to swim and the hotel prohibits swimming. The biggest negative is that the hotel seems to cater mostly for providing meals for visiting Chinese tour groups, so there are few guests actually residing at the hotel but the whole place gets taken over by 100 or more Chinese tourists at meal times. During those times, the whole hotel gets very noisy and unpleasant, so would recommend during these times to take the complementary shuttle to the the sister hotel (Argo) which is much bigger and has a swimable beach and a Spa. Overall, a nice place with loads of potential, but the vibe needs to change (a lot) if the hotel wants to attract a broader range of international tourists rather than just catering for Chinese tours groups.

Fantastic
We had a fantastic stay at this place. Never stayed so close to the beach. The hotel is very new and comfortable. The only negative is that between 2 pm and 6 pm, bus loads of tourists from their other property come her to have tea and hang out by the pool, which makes it very crowded and noisy. Stay in your room or go for a walk in this period. The rest of the time is wonderful.
