Wonderful, warm staff, thoughtfully and uniquely decorated rooms, a beautiful library, and a very nice breakfast. Also, the hotel is in a charming, quiet square near many lovely restaurants and the market hall.

Our room was gorgeous, and the whole property is beautiful. Every member of the staff is super friendly and helpful. Our room faced the street, so there was a little road noise at night, but overall the stay was fantastic. Also, it was about a 10 min walk from the port, and less than 5 min by car. Highly recommend!

Great

Solo stay

Staff are excellent!! Kind and extremely helpful. Great location with cafés and restaurants one block away. I chose not to have breakfast here, as what I saw appeared extremely minimal. This boutique has a lot of antique pieces, so much so that I did not sit on the chairs in the room for fear of breaking them. The rooms are clean, and the bed is comfortable. I did need earplugs as the noise from the street at various hours of the night/morning woke me up.

They deliver what they promise. Very nice venue and central. However, if you must have a coffee machine in your room, this is not the place for you.

This is like a bed and breakfast in old town Montevideo. The free breakfast was outstanding. The location is very convenient for access to the port, the port market, and many museums. We added a combined walk/car tour to intensely experience Montevideo during our 4-day stay.
