Our stay at the Ramada by Wyndham was for four days. Breakfast on the 16th floor was good and catered for all travellers. The hotel location was central, next to Chinatown and close to most must-see Manila attractions. The hotel shuttle service (leaving at 9 am and 11 am and return pickups in the afternoon) was on time and convenient, and took us to the Museum and Intramuros. The hotel was within walking distance of restaurants, ATMs, and malls (such as Lucky Chinatown, 999, and 168). The room was comfortable. Some mould in the bathroom. The air conditioner worked effectively. Of particular note was the friendliness of the staff from reception, breakfast and security door staff. Of special mention is Edward (Front Office Supervisor) on the reception ground floor. His advice on what to see in Manila, the cost of transport, his approachability and his general level of customer service were extremely noticeable. Many thanks, Edward!

Was told by staff that my reservation doesn’t include free breakfast so we just opted eating out. Our room is good enough for overnight stay, shower room floor is always wet due to water staying on one side but not a big deal.

We stayed here for 5 nights and cannot fault this hotel. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was fresh every morning with a good variety of dishes including a chef ready to cook your eggs, your way. Located in Chinatown, when walking outside there was obvious poverty but at no time did we feel unsafe. A short walk away was the Lucky Chinatown Mall, where we had many options for restaurants. Street food is also available.

Solo stay

Everything about the hotel was above expectations. Great room, staff and restaurant. Crazy location in China Town, but I had no issues even though the streets were always busy

Good

Solo stay

Lovely helpful staff, nice breakfast, central location. I chose this Hotel due to its great central location near the historic city of Intramuros and Chinatown and its location is great. However, I have a warning for solo travellers - I was approached by a street gang of children on the main bridge and threatened and almost robbed - so would advise not to walk in the local area. I reported it to the management of the hotel and front desk to warn other visitors.
