Solo stay

Hotel 81 Changi suited my needs very well. I was passing through Singapore, having a 30 hour layover. My room was not large but was clean and quiet. The hotel is located about 400 metres from a metro station which in turn is about 20 minutes from the airport. The front desk staff were very helpful.

There was a restaurant downstairs that was reasonably priced, but that’s about it , hotel is dated and nowhere near airport

AC was too cold, shopping, restaurants convenient many localfoods to chose from nice neighborhood,many different ethnic Singaporean live within close vicinity Indian from India(mamak you call them),the Baba's and nyonya also the Portuguese ( descendants) interesting neighborhood
