Great room , comfy bed . Excellent location . It was by accident that I saw jalena when we were arriving . She was very nice and helpful . The rooms are in an excellent location . It would be good if you could access the English Chanel on the TV if you are there for a few days . In Croatia it is easy to pay via an app on the phone eg taxi drivers uses this . Thank you !

Good

For business

Getting to the property was not the easiest thing the first time, as it is in the very centre, the taxi can only drop you near, so you have to walk through the city centre to get to the property. There are plenty of convenient shops and food outlets, as you are in the very centre. Getting in initially is challenging, as you are texted some complex, but detailed instructions to get in the building and to your room. It is not manned. The outside of the building looks old and tired and I was apprehensive about what the apartment would be like. The hallway and building in general is very old and a bit tired and the lift area smelled really strongly of old engine oil. The lift was very old fashioned but worked. There was no hall lighting down the corridor, which wasn’t great or very safe. The apartment itself was nice enough and fairly clean, but a little bit tired. It was spacious and well equipped. It was quiet, with no outside noise. You could hear your neighbours, but only very slightly. For me to travel, I had to walk to the end of the shopping area, to catch my Uber. It’s only 6-8mins and I was lucky to avoid the rain. If it’s a few people staying here, it would be great value. Payment is by bank transfer only, no credit cards. I have a company credit card, so had to pay out of my own money. For this reason I wouldn’t choose it again, when I return in the near future, which is a shame, as the property was good value.

Apartment is clean and modern. It is located just off the major square which was great. Being unfamiliar with the city, access to the building was hard to find. You must find an alley and most stores nearby did not know where it was. Once found my wife had some worries walking to the door at night time. It is about 50 yards off the main square, and poorly lit. That being said, I would likely stay again on our next visit.

Property worked out fine for what I needed. There was no one on site to help. There was some miscommunication at first due to the hotel using WhatsApp. I have it, but seldom use it so I wasn’t checking it. The hotel room wasn’t dirty, but not as clean as it could be. Some of the furniture was stained. The stairwell was very dark. There is a nice little balcony for #3, but you’re looking at several balconies across the way that are covered in pigeon sh*t. The fridge was a good useful size and the bathroom looks to have been recently renovated. The rain head wasn’t working properly, but there was the standard hand held that worked well. I couldn’t get the tv to work right. It kept turning off, but I didn’t go to Zagreb to watch tv. The two small AC units are very low output and took a while to cool the room down, but worked adequately to keep it comfortable for the duration of the stay. The bed was comfortable. I definitely wouldn’t call this place luxury, but it was conveniently located and covered my needs.

Can’t beat the location, within a few minutes walk of all the must-see sites in Zagreb, and the best restaurants. Host was super helpful and responsive. Great experience overall!

Very charming. Slightly challenging to find in the dark but Jelena gave excellent and detailed directions by WhatsApp. Would highly recommend.
