The hotel's exterior is well-maintained and clean, but the rooms need repairs, such as: The air conditioning wasn't working on our first day. We reported the problem, and they fixed it. Two days later, the bathroom light stopped working. I reported it, and they fixed it. The toilet flush stopped working. I reported it, and they fixed it, but after that, I still had to press the button to flush. There are fans outside that run so loudly at night that it's impossible to sleep. The air conditioning supposedly worked after the repair, but it didn't cool the room as well as it should.

The Bazaar Hotel Bangkok would like to inform all guests that our building

has been thoroughly inspected by both our internal maintenance and official

engineer teams, and have found no structural or safety-concerning damage.

Therefore, our building is considered safe to continue our services and

operations as usual (except for BKK SKY GYM/swimming pool which has quite an

extensive water damage that we are currently taking care of). However, there are

some minor interior impairments that require touch-ups, so you may see our

maintenance team fixing or closing off those areas to be fixed. Small cracks on

walls and windows are not dangerous, especially because our windows are made

from double-layered laminated glass with a plastic interlayer in the middle. But

your safety is our priority, if you feel or see anything that causes concern, please

alert a member of staff immediately.

We are grateful that our damages are minimal, and more importantly, that

every guest and staff member is safe from the earthquake event. Our hearts and

prayers go to those in Thailand and Myanmar that suffers more severely from the

aftermath of this natural disaster.
