If you want air conditioning, it will be an extra 10 pounds per night. I booked the single traveler room and while it was very tiny, it was worth it because they had air-conditioning. if you also want to check out late, the Mexican brew is for free hours and each hour is 10 pounds.

Let's start with the obvious. The room is small. We all know this going in. No need to dwell on it. There is also no elevator, so just beware of that if that is a thing that would be a problem for you. With all that said, this is a wonderful place to stay. It's super close to Paddington station, which is so convenient for getting anywhere you need to go. The staff at the hotel are amazing and super friendly. When you first get there, they will give you ideas on where to go and places to eat. The room itself is super clean and well taken care of. It has everything you need. I enjoyed my stay there very much and would definitely stay there again if I needed a single room.

FantasticStayed with family · For friends and family
The staff was VERY helpful and kind. They were always available to ask a question or provide a warm hello or good morning. We stayed in a family room and while the bathroom was small, it had great pressure in the shower and we made do. The location made it easy to access all trains and metro. We also walked to some sights. It is a little loud in the street at times, so if you are a light sleeper you may need some ear plugs for the occasional loud conversation when the bars let out.

Below averageStayed with family
No shower and no ac. Tiny rooms and baths even by European standards. We were on the 4th floor and there was some issue with the cold water pressure so only scalding hot water in the room. Staff blamed some public works issue, but hotel next door and none of the other guests seemed to have the problem. Staff just said “nothing we can do” but offer us use of a literal bathroom closet two floors down. It was so small the sink was on top of the toilet tank and my 6ft tall son couldn’t fully stand. I am an avg build female and hot my elbows on two walls just trying to sit to use the toilet. Our room was so small you had to shimmy sideways around the foot of the beds. There was no horizontal surface for anything, phone, toiletries, etc. No closet other than a bar above the aisle between the two beds. Hidden in the fine print once you make your non refundable reservation is that ac is an extra charge. Staff blamed Expedia for their system limitation to display the info. No fan and window opened about 3inches to a concrete balcony wall so room was stiff long hot. Sweated my a** of for three nights and not sure who to be more angry at, Expedia for telling me they had ac or the hotel for not being able to shower. I paid for a hotel room with an en-suite bath and got a stifling closet with barely a public restroom. First photo is the bathroom in our room.

The staff were incredibly helpful. I loved this hotel. I was there during a really hot week and i was so glad they had air con. It was worth the extra money. Excellent location. I even got to enjoy the park in front. I would stay here again and again.

Fantastic Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was small (as expected, I did choose a small room), but very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Great location. Very enjoyable stay.

Staff were brilliant, very helpful and friendly.
Great location, close to the underground and train station.
Lots of nice restaurants, bars and shops close by.
Close to Hyde Park.
Only things to note - there is an extra charge for the AC which we were not expecting
The bathroom and the room itself is quite small. We managed but for others it might be a tight squeeze!
Overall would recommend.
