GoodStayed with family · For friends and family
Check in was good. My room had two leaks and it was raining most days; one of the leaks dripped onto one of the beds. Ants were present; no left overs or snacks could be in the room due to this. Pool was open but not enough lights around it. Menu available was very limited. WiFi was very good throughout the place. No AC in rooms and the fan we had was too noisy to have it on at night. No beach access or beach nearby!! Hotel has no info or contacts for local taxis or airport shuttles. No mini fridge, we were not told we could have items in the hotel’s main fridge either. Mosquitoes were in the room every night, no bed nets available, seems staff leave doors open while doing room cleaning and plenty of mosquitoes get in.

GoodStayed with kids · For leisure
The property wast sitting in the middle of the jungle and if you like to spend time in the nature away from city this is the perfect place. GPS location needs to be updated. We got lost in the dark many times trying to find the property and when getting back. The room was really new but, it wasn't clean. There were dead bugs behind doors and even after the room was cleaned by staff. For the price you expect to get at least hand soap for the restroom or shampoo.

FantasticStayed with partner
I loved it. Leave 10 minutes past Chemuyil, and arrive in daylight because it is IN the jungle. Less intimidating to reach on second and third trips in but a bear the first time. Hotels dot com pin was incorrect,.it was a good first step but you need to go way past it into the jungle then take a left and follow signs. It is posted but still challenging to find. Worth it though: as shown and clean, good pool and mostly top level for getaway. Awesome escape for the price.

Good The hotel facilities are lovely and the staff was friendly. However, this hotel is in the middle of the jungle with no other hotels or businesses close by. The map shows it to be close to the main highway but it is a 30 minute walk to Chemuyil and a 50 minute walk to the beach. Without a car, I felt very isolated. There were not many other guests when I was there which was even more isolating. The receptionist was rarely in the lobby, or even on site. When I arrived, the receptionist was not there and the cook showed me my room, but didn’t mention that the water was off - due to repairs. The next morning the doors to the lobby and dining room were still locked at 7:50 am. When I asked about hot water for my shower, they said they would turn it on. When I asked for coffee, I was served yesterday’s coffee heated up in the microwave. Not a good start!
