Fantastic
Really nice stay here for a long weekend. I had room 111 - a premier/superior room. While the room is not huge and the view was offl a wall, it was plenty big enough for me and I didn't do to Romania to look out a window. It was clean and well furnished with a fridge, safe and plenty of space to put clothes. It also has air con. As the name suggests the hotel is in old town with it's many bars, restaurants and clubs. However it's on the edge, a minute walk but none of the noise from the bars, just the odd guests. The metro is only a 10 minute stroll too. Great value for money I'd happily stay here again.

Perfect location and very quiet on a night as friends stayed elsewhere and it was very noisy on a night. Clean but a bit run down, could do with refurb but fine for a few nights.

The biggest drawback about the hotel is the reception staff. I’m not sure if this was a regular receptionist, as she was very young and seemingly unbothered by anything, so it’s maybe unfair to judge on her alone, but sadly this was my experience. At 1.30am one morning, I heard the door of my room being opened from the outside. The receptionist and a companion had made their way in, clearly thinking the room was empty and available. When they saw it wasn’t, for some reason they took my room key and left, meaning there was no electricity to the room. She then returned my key, but only after I called down to reception. This was added to another miscommunication incident earlier in the week, which sadly amount to - at best - a serious lack of professionalism. It’s a shame, as the hotel actually has plenty of positives, not least its location. However if you want to feel safe in your room at night, I would consider staying elsewhere.

Receptionists were very helpful - nothing was a problem. Our room was very clean, comfortable bed, ample storage & nice bathroom. Breakfast at attached restaurant was good. Location at edge of old town was great for taxi drop off & return. Overall a great experience, value for money. The old town is full of restaurants & bars but very tired. Done the day trip to Draculas castle, Peles castle & Brasov. Also visited Palace of the Parliament both trips were excellent!

We nearly couldnt find the hotel as some of the pictures are not current. I may not have book if the pictures were updated. However the hotel was clean and warn, the room was small but adequate. There hot water was a little on and off (bloody hot then cold). The TV only had one English channel, but we wasnt there for that. The minibar was empty and it seemed that you had to get everything from reception (when there is some one there), however the owner dogged me all holiday to pay for a bottle of water that according to the booklet was free, but he didnt seem to agree. The food in the resturant was OK but the main dish was cold, when i told them they didnt remake it they just put it in the microwave that warmed the dish up but not the food. But they didnt seem bothered. Overall 6 out of 10 for me, great position on the edge of the old town and realy good price. I wouldnt return personly.

Good
Hotel was absolutely fine. Unfortunately location was less than ideal, very noisy at night. Drumming heard at 1:30am and people partying gone 4am, I didn’t sleep properly the whole trip

Great location, clean, friendly, but no hot water in morning. Great Romanian breakfast in restaurant below.
