Fantastic

Solo stay

This is the third time I've stayed at Jira Boutique Residence and I really like it, especially for the price. The rooms are new and very clean. It doesn't really have a desk, but it has a small round glass-top table. The rooms all have refrigerators, some are mini-sized, but others are twice as tall. There are no microwaves in the rooms, but there's one you can use in the lobby. The location has been great for me--I'm glad to be outside the crowded downtown area, but Jira is only a 10 minute walk from the night market and about 12 minutes from a decent grocery store. The staff is great--very friendly and helpful. It's always a pleasure to stay here.

Bit far from everything, Rooms were very basic but water was provided. Spacious rooms, shower was a wet room so water goes everywhere but avoidable Would recommend if you are prepared to stay somewhere very basic

Property itself is only average but clean enough and met our needs and is in good location near one of the best areas. Family of five staying in 2 rooms b405 & b407. Despite booking for 5 people they charged us extra to set up a fold out bed for our youngest. If you want luxury pay more and stay elsewhere cos this isn’t luxury but the location and pool were good and it provided everything we needed for a busy family who weren’t at the hotel much during the day. Laundry service was good. Staff were generally helpful when asked.

Room was ok but I went left instead of right off the elevator and discovered my room key opens their doors too! Staff was not helpful nor friendly. I asked to extend my stay and they said they were full…only to discover as I was looking were to go next…they were not full.

Where do I starts? Pool-dirty Towels - old down to the lat thread Gym- not a gym Water pressure- very weak Coffee in the “restaurant” was good but just pastries The place needs to be dusted. Not walking distance to old town. You have to take a taxi.

About a 10 minute walk to the old city and night market. Super quick WiFi (about 350mb download speed). Nice swimming pool as well. Not much in the way of the immediate surrounding area but a nice quiet place and a walkable distance to the old city. Rooms are also quite spacious.

The hotel is in an area that’s near good restaurants, and easy to find a taxi. The staff were pleasant and attentive. The coffee shop inside is good. If you dislike barking dogs like me, then don’t get a room on the pool side of the building. The house next to the hotel has dogs that bark loudly all day and night. Very annoying….
