I had an excellent stay at MCentral Apartments Manukau. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a great view. The secure car park was a bonus, and housekeeping regularly emptied the rubbish and replenished towels. The location is excellent, with everything you need within walking distance. It was also an excellent place for remote work, with a fast and reliable high-speed internet connection. The room could get quite warm on sunny days, and the portable air conditioner wasn’t very effective, so central air conditioning would be a great improvement. Some of the furniture was also a little wobbly. The breakfast was a little disappointing for the price. The advertised pancakes came from an automatic machine and were quite dry. Freshly cooked pancakes, along with fresh baked bread and muffins, would make the breakfast feel much better value. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily stay here again.

The location is great handy to transport,shopping and entertainment. We have stayed at this property on several occasions before and those times couldn't fault it. But this time the unit was clean, the fridge only had one shelf the others were missing. The doors on the fridge and dishwasher and kitchen cabinets damaged. Oven had no trays. It was like there had been a fight in the unit sometimes ago, a wall had holes that had roughly been patched. Almost like long term tentents use. Will for other accommodation next time

Overall, our stay was disappointing and did not match the expectations set by the online listing. While the room was reasonably clean on arrival and the staff were polite, there were several maintenance and presentation issues that affected our experience. The room had no heating despite it being winter, and the portable air-conditioning/heating unit provided was not functioning, making the room quite uncomfortable during the colder nights. The washing machine in the apartment was also not working properly, which appeared to be due to a lack of maintenance. There were paint splatters on the window, giving the room an unfinished and poorly maintained appearance. Parking was another frustration. The allocated parking space was occupied by another guest when we arrived, and there didn’t appear to be an organised system in place to resolve the issue promptly. Perhaps the biggest disappointment was that the property did not resemble the photos shown in the online booking. The images gave a much better impression than what we experienced in reality. With better maintenance, improved parking management, and more accurate listing photos, this property could provide a much better experience. Unfortunately, based on our stay, it did not offer good value for the price.

I wasnt very impressed with the standard of the room. Although it was clean it had a lot of obvious damage on appliances, floors and walls. None of the heaters appeared to work. There was no welcome booklet with information about the apartment. Our allocated carpark that we had to pay extra for had a car in it which was needing to be towed away. When I went to use the toaster for breakfast it was broken and did not work. To be honest I was quite disappointed given the cost of the room. It was also hard to navigate our way to the apartments due to roadworks in Putney Place. Overall I was really not impressed with this accommodation.

The sheet in my room was never changed the whole 5 nights I stayed at the hotel. I booked a single bedroom but was offered 2 rooms.

The location is very good, and the room is a good size. The beds were a bit small for a taller person. One bedroom backed onto the hallway and had a window looking out to it, which meant that there was a lot of light in the bedroom at night. Most of the room was quite clean, but the shower was very mouldy.

I got a 2 bedroom apartment with a balcony and i can say it didn’t disappoint, the rooms were nice and clean and our stay was very pleasant. Definitely recommend booking with McCentral Apartments Manukau!

Me and my partner went to spend the night here, but not long after making it to our room. Maybe 20 mins later, she broke out in hives.

Stay there often, for the short trip to the Airport.
