This felt like a "boutique hotel". There was a person at the desk at all times, and each one was extremely friendly and helpful!
The location was fabulous. Luggage had to be carried up and down a couple flights of stairs, but their staff helped.
The room was comfortable even though a bit small. There was a lot of traffic and tourist noise at times. However, I was glad we chose to stay here for our first trip to Paris because I felt like we got a true European experience.

Perfect location. Typical French hotel so lots of stairs but otherwise clean and well run. Very lovely staff!

the front desk was extremely welcoming and helpful with food suggestions, grocery stores, and activities, especially during the extreme heat wave. They offered to call ahead for things we had purchased advance tickets for that may have been canceled due to the weather and were so kind when teaching my children a few French phrases. something to note - our room was on the third floor and there was no elevator - we were totally fine but some travelers may find that difficult. Would absolutely stay here again (am actually looking at flights now.... :D )

Good This property is older - from the 1700s, so they do the best they can with the limitations of what can be changed on the hotel since its historic. The staff are the friendliest ever!
Would recommend skipping breakfast in favor of a cafe. Laundromat in walking distance. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Can't beat the location, across street from Louvre.

FantasticSolo stay
This little hotel is in a great location near the Louvre with a metro station close by. My room was small (it was a single) but it was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed. Everyone was very nice and helpful and there is a little market nearby to pick up groceries.

This little hotel has everything you need, and nothing you don't. The bed is comfortable and the room was surprisingly quiet considering its central location. The staff were just the right amount of helpful.

The rooms were clean. Location is wonderful and luxurious. The Hotel definitely needs an upgrade starting with the carpets of the stairwell. There is an elevator, but it only starts from floor 2 1/2 and it goes in between floors to 3 1/2 and 4 1/2. Extremely difficult if you have luggage to enter the hotel with multiple steps to get to the small lobby and then multiple steps to get to your room or the elevator. Anywhere you come out of the elevator, you will still have steps. The location is excellent and exquisite. As a friend Said you’re in the First district outside and in a much lesser district inside the hotel. Again, I wanna mention that the rooms were clean. I would not Stay here again because I cannot haul luggage up and downstairs specially historical stairs that are very difficult to maneuver. By US standards, this would be a two star.

GoodStayed with family
Great location but our taxi driver didn’t find it easily. Just a door at street level with small signage on the wall. Close to the Louvre, restaurants and shops. Lots of perfume and designer shops around.
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room but needs some upkeep. Toilet cover was falling off. Shower and sink were draining slowly and we had to take off the whole cover so water would drain fast. Beds comfy, AC was good. We did not have wifi for 2 days and when we did have it, signal was weak and kept disconnecting. Not a good place for those with mobility issues. You have to climb a flight of stairs to get to reception. Then the elevator, which is small, stops between floors and you either have to climb or walk down (depending where you room is) a narrow, spiral-like staircase. A bit expensive for what is, I guess you’re paying for its location.
I had a medical issue and needed some ice. No ice in the hotel and was told to go any restaurant around and ask for ice. How ridiculous. On the other hand, another staff was really nice and gave me a keychain souvenir.
