Check in staff are not hospitable 2 your requests especialy if your from Interstate or NSW. They want your passport even when u travel locally, "STAY AWAY & spend a little more for peace of mind. Do yourself a favour !

For an oldie with hip and lower back problems too many stairs. It is a pity the lift, that quite apparently was originally there, has been removed.

Solo stay

Maze Backpackers met my needs for a short solo trip. The Best part is their location. 8 minute walk to central station, 5 minute walk to light rail. On Pitt Street in "Thai" town. Next to China town. It worked great for me.

good for someone who would like to save in accomodation and would spend more outside 😅 great area lots of asian restaurant around. Near world square,parks and around 10min walk CBD

I slept in a shared room with six people. It was actually nice being around people I didn’t know and having the chance to chat with them. I felt safe, and everything was reliable. The stuff is very kind and polite appreciate the hospitality. Thank you.
