Nice clean hotel. Great for a night before a cruise

It was a great hotel for our short stay in Boston. It was reasonably priced, it was clean, the staff were very helpful, there was a continental breakfast, and it was right on the red line subway. On the red line downtown was only 2 stops away. Very convenient.

I stayed at the Cambria Hotel for one night after a whirlwind tour of New England. Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk clerk was friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The valet area is very small, accommodating only a few cars. Valet parking cost about $61 for 24 hours, which felt expensive, but it included in-and-out privileges and was more convenient than parking in a garage several blocks away. The hotel lobby is modern and inviting, and my room on the seventh floor reflected the same contemporary style. While my view overlooked a nearby condo building, the room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-designed. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent, and the blackout shades made it easy to get a good night's sleep. Amenities included shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, coffee, and a mini wine fridge. Wi-Fi was easy to access, and the air conditioning worked well. The complimentary breakfast was the weakest part of the stay. The oatmeal was overly thick, the bread was dry, and the eggs lacked flavor. The yogurt was decent, and I appreciated having tea and honey available. What stood out most was the staff's friendliness and helpfulness. They even held my luggage after checkout while I explored Boston. The hotel is also conveniently located near restaurants and a Circle K. Overall, I had a very good stay. The expensive valet parking and underwhelming breakfast kept it from being a perfect experience, but the comfortable accommodations.

A clean and well appointed room. It was not a large room but the bathroom and amenities were great.

I’ll say the hotel was great; clean and comfortable. But I would not be swayed by the complementary breakfast. Coffee was not drinkable. I was also disappointed in the single-use cutlery and the single use plastic toiletries. Hotels should really be stepping up to be more conscious of waste. Gym was excellent.

The best thing about the Cambria is the location on the Redline. It was convenient transportation for my son’s graduation. There are few other amenities actually available. Despite being fully booked, the rooftop bar was closed. Also, not having any decent food, coffee or beverage choices was disappointing. The room, which was not inexpensive, was very small, the carpet has seen much better days. But, the worst part about the rooms are an extremely loud air conditioning system. It actually made sleeping difficult. The bright side was the hotel front desk, they were always polite and professional.

During my stay, there was an accident in which I was injured. The staff that night did a great job. Ruby, who was working the front desk, was amazing. She went above and beyond to provide superior customer service. She made our stay wonderful. The staff were so sweet; they provided me with a cute little gift bag containing bandages, M&M's, and a lovely card signed by the staff who helped that night and by the general manager who assisted me the next day. I loved it. Wanted to say thank you again to Ruby, the real MVP.
