Fantastic
Second stay at this ryokan after a perfect stay last year. Location is perfect - on the willow-lined river street close to onsens. Quiet, comfortable rooms. Public and private onsen on site, excellent dinner served at the restaurant. Air conditioning wasn’t cooling the room completely, but staff were accommodating with extra fans. Thank you Kaki for another wonderful stay.

We stayed in a prong room with a small terrace which was great to look over the street and people watch. Very quiet and relaxed hotel. The room was perfectly clean and presented. Such a lovely check in from staff who helped so much with our lack of Japanese. The private bath was great. Excellent location, only across the road for a couple of onsen. Map and guidance on yukata given. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic
Kinosaki is a dream and this ryokan is the perfect base to explore the many sights and onsens. We were received very warmly and provided with all that is necessary for a wonderful visit. Highly recommended!

Fantastic

Solo stay

I had a very comfortable stay here and would love to stay again! The staff were so hospitable, making check-in very easy and care-free. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities required for a short stay. There were blackout blinds to make the room completely dark at night, and the sound insulation seemed very good as I couldn’t hear anything from the neighbouring rooms. The location is perfect, a short walk to all rhe onsens and the train station. I would fully recommend staying here for anyone looking for a relaxing experience!

The room, the staff, the private onsen, and the Kaiseki dinner were all amazing. The staff welcomed us in from the cold, took care of our bags, set us up with our own boots for the snow, and taught us how to tie up our yukata’s within minutes of arriving. It was an immersive experience that felt like a home away from home, and will forever be our favourite experience in Japan.
