客房乾淨，設施完整功能良好。浴室內有按摩浴缸，不用出門即可享受溫泉。早餐簡單但美味可口，每日0800開始供餐。少數客房靠近馬路旁，雖然有隔音窗但是仍然可以感受到大車經過的聲音，早上0600開始交通繁忙之後會比較有感。周邊生活機能完整，有手搖飲、在地風味餐廳、便利商店及郵局，另有步道、溫泉泡腳池、谷關溫泉等觀光景點，且附近群山環繞空氣清新，非常適合慢活旅遊。大眾運輸方面有153公車(台中高鐵至谷關)、207公車(豐原車站至谷關)及850公車(台中車站至谷關)，班次時距雖然比較長但是聯外還算方便，也提供了自駕之外的造訪管道。

硬體品質一般 家庭河景房風景還不錯 不過浴池以家庭房來說也太小了點 服務還不錯 之前看評論說隔音不好 住宿當天是端午節可能因為沒什麼住客 整晚倒是沒聽到任何噪音

別館離本館的步行距離大概五分鐘，如果是要外出吃飯也很方便，但如果要使用大眾池就比較不方便，也還需要150/人加購大眾池湯券。

價格過高，以一房一晚8000多台幣而言，住宿品質不值得此價格。（非連假的週六）沒有電梯，像一般民房連通起來的奇怪格局。

過年期間房價高可以預期，但應該清楚告知房間位置跟Google Map上隔到底多遠，一晚16500這個價格完全不含早餐，加上房間離本館谷關鬧區超過300公尺的上斜坡讓行動不便老人家完全走不到非常不便。 浴室完全沒有掛毛巾的掛勾需改善。
