Fantastic
21 steps to the second floor was a bit of a climb, but we survived šŸ˜ Great accommodations, large room, nice mattress and furnishings. A bit of confusion checking in, but sorted out quickly. Right in the middle of the historic district.

We had a HUGE room with fireplace overlooking Main Street. Surprisingly quiet considering the location, which puts you right in the middle of the action. Plenty to do (and eat šŸ˜Š) within walking distance.

This room (#4) was so cute and nostalgic. I love the journal and the entries from previous guests. We were in town for my son's Cornell graduation and it was also glass fest weekend. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The pictures online were deceiving. This is an inn above a burger joint that we entered through a back lot full of smelly dumpsters. Upon seeing our room, furniture a la 1975 and of dubious cleanliness, we decided not to stay. Exiting the back way to our car took us down a literal fire escape. I'm sure it suffices for some, but this seems better for transients than actual tourists to the Corning area.

WSe liked the roominess 500 sq ft and the decor which was not standard high or low-end furnishings and wall art. It's location for seeing the wonderful Corning Museum is perfect--a nice walk. We'll go back when we're next in Finger Lakes.
