Fantastic

Solo stay

The hotel is in a great location (less than two mins from Jesmond Metro) and my room was spotlessly clean. Staff were very helpful; in particular, James (Front of House Manager) who went above and beyond checking me in to Holiday Inn, as I’d spent the previous night at 91 Aparthotel where there were cleanliness issues.

Room was clean, but sash and case window chord was broken and could not be accessed as an internal Perspex window was installed so could not open!. Just repair the sash and case!. Also, room doors are heavy duty fire doors which slam every time as do other adjacent doors from 5am!, so don’t come here to catch up on your sleep or a relaxing break. Female receptionist needs to go on a customer care course for lack of conversation and rude on arrival and exit!. Luke on reception, on the other hand, was excellent and attentive!.

Clean room, 10/10 for staff. Scored low due to now having to pay for parking in the attached car park (taken over by a private company) and hot breakfast options being extremely cheap products.

Fantastic
The breakfast was fantastic. Great choice of foods, including healthier options. A special thanks to the lady who welcomes you into the breakfast room...a friendly, helpful and jolly member of staff who I'm sure is a great asset. Helped my day start well!
