The staff was excellent, very friendly, and helpful. My issue was that the hotel needed a touch-up with the paint. As soon as I entered the hotel lobby, I noticed the walls were dirty. Once I went to my room, the same thing, the walls were dirty. The room was very small and did not look like the photos. The room has a small refrigerator, but it is on the floor. For the bathroom, I had to get used to the shower head being mounted in the middle of the shower, rather than at the front. The shower head's position caused water to spill onto the floor if you were not careful. The bed was okay, but firm. The air conditioner was okay, but the room never got cold; it was hot and humid outside. Nice hotel, great location, just needs some things fixed.

Daily house keeping was nice. But I will never stay here again. Don’t stay here. The room was some makeshift garbage room. The floor only had 4 rooms available. The room itself was an attempt for the hotel to make more money, as the room photos made the room see a lot bigger than it actually is. This type of room is a broom closet with a toilet, sink, and a malfunctioning poorly functioning shower and bathtub. It also had a window facing the hallway so other guests could walk by the room and you’d see their movement. The hotel placed a blind to lower the light, but the hallway light, and the light from the outside window in the same place inhibited my sleep drastically. I never had a good sleep here. The location of the hotel is great in d1. Walking distance to most of district one and a short walk to the opera house MRT station which is convenient. The bath tub and shower was some ad hoc, make shift garbage shower (see photos). The hotel put a shower head in the middle of the wrong wall for a shower. The tub also did not drain fast. So when I showered I would have my feet covered in my soiled bath water. Housekeeping was very loud. Would make loud bags, and slam doors which woke me up every morning. Other hotel guest were also loud, disrespectful and would yell and scream in the hallway in the middle of the nights after coming home drunk. This hotel is not a place for a relaxing stay or good nights sleep.

Clean room and nice staff, good location. Property could just use some updating.

Place is decent looking , but the beds are very uncomfortable. I complained about it they tried to add some comfort but you could feel the springs. Gave me another room but same issue and in this room the hallways smelled like durian everywhere. I asked if we can cancel and they refused it. Rented for 2 nights and walked out. Rented somewhere else and they still charged me lol.
