This stay exceeded expectations in every way — more than ideal for large families. Location: Perfect on all levels. Chaotianmen sits at the heart of the tourist area. The hotel restaurant opens to a private area exclusive to residents and staff, right above the public Raffles Square viewing platform, with even better views. The hotel has its own quiet entrance (distant from the mall's main entrance) yet only steps away from the mall's food court entrance. Staff: Everyone from doormen to front desk to restaurant staff was exceptionally warm, polite, and helpful. Food: The breakfast buffet, though modest, was high-quality and well-made that I could just live on it. The sitting area wasn't too large but the staff proactively arranged seats and we were able to eat comfortably every morning. Room: The 3BR suite was almost 2000 sqft, offering spacious bedrooms and a huge living room. Cleanliness: The two-person cleaning crew is very thorough yet lightning fast (10-15 minutes). Laundry & Cooking: Appliances are useful but unintuitive. There are QR codes for online instructions (just like everything else in China). In particular — the dryer's water tank must be manually emptied. View: The hotel is in the rear tower, so the front faces the other building — only side views of the river. Food & Packages: Robots handle vending machine goods, external food and package delivery to room. Fresh BBQ skewers made by a top-rated restaurant 3 mile away arrived within 30 minutes.

We had an amazing stay at Ascott Chongqing! The location was perfect—everything we wanted to see was within walking distance, including Hongyadong, Jiefangbei, shopping malls, restaurants, and the riverfront. It made exploring the city so easy without needing taxis most of the time. The apartment was spacious, modern, clean, and very comfortable for our family. The views were beautiful, and having extra space compared to a standard hotel room made our stay even better. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the amenities were excellent. If you’re visiting Chongqing and want a comfortable place that’s close to all the major attractions, I highly recommend staying at Ascott. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip!

The room was spotlessly clean from the moment I arrived—fresh linens, sparkling bathroom, and no dust anywhere. The apartment-style layout gave us plenty of space with a comfortable living area, well-equipped kitchenette, laundry, and cozy bedrooms. Everything felt modern and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They greeted me warmly every day, went out of their way to answer questions, and even provided excellent local recommendations. Their service made the whole stay feel personal and welcoming. Location-wise, it’s perfect for shopping enthusiasts. It’s right next to a massive shopping mall packed with hundreds of stores, international brands, food courts, cinemas, and entertainment options. Direct acess to subway line 1 made exploring other areas simple too. Overall, this is a fantastic choice for both leisure and business travelers seeking luxury serviced apartments. Great value, comfort, and service—I’ll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We like the room a lot. Two full bedrooms with a kitchen. And the location was perfect. Staff was helpful. Only complaint was the food, and it’s not really a complaint, but the food wasn’t that good for breakfast. Eggs and bacon were cold, not enough choices for such a great hotel. But overall it was great and we would highly recommend staying here for a 30 percent lower cost than the Intercontinental next door.

I truly enjoyed my 10‑day stay at this full‑service apartment rental with my 90‑year‑old father. The two‑bedroom apartment was well maintained and offered a beautiful view of Chongqing. The service team was excellent, and I especially appreciated Polly, who patiently answered all my questions and helped with every request. I will certainly stay there again on my next visit to Chongqing, China.

good location, great customer services. In house laundry machine in your apartment is a plus. But the bathrooms needs some vents.
