Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. We enjoyed very much our stay and can recommend this place.

The property itself is stunning,its oldy meets new loved it so beautiful,staff are amazing,especially the young girl who took our dinner order,she was so polite and lovely,I didn't get her name. Morning breakfast full breaky not a fan,should have stuck to the scrambled egg which hubby had and really enjoyed,the young lad Josh was so nice very friendly and funny.😁would definitely recommend this beautiful castle(hotel)to anyone whose thinking of booking.

The building is stunning and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Couple of small points , were that the shower didnt drain very well to the point of almost overflowing and we couldnt open the bathroom window. The room next door , the door banged loudly everytime they used it and they left their dog in the room to bark and howl when they went for breakfast. Maybe thats our fault for not complaining , but i wont be going to a dog friendly hotel again if thats what is going to happen. Beautiful old building in a lovely location, ideal for exploring the area with excellent staff who were very welcoming.

Very large, clean and comfortable room. Staff were outgoing and attentive to any of our needs. I was hoping for a more authentic castle experience, but furnishings were basic and a bit worn out. The restaurant service was slow due to under-staffing, but the staff were all friendly and engaging and the food was good. Overall, a comfortable stay, but don't expect much of an experience.

Love the property and the staff was welcoming and professional. Just know that if you stay on the higher floors there is no lift/elevator. Overall great stay!

Nice property. Excellent experience staying in a small castle. Breakfast was very nice for a very good price. Easy parking.

Each room is individually appointed giving them unique feels like one would find as a guest in a home. En suite bathrooms were updated and very clean. It was a thrill to stay in an historic home I just wish there had been more information available about its history.

Room was beautiful and clean, breakfast staff was lovely however our "bucket list" stay was incredibly dampened due to the dinner staff member. She was quite avoidant and disinterested and would audibly sigh when walking away from customers. Extremely disappointed in the meals as most things were unavailable on a Friday night and there was only one steak cut option and only one chicken out of 3 on the menu available. None of this was told to us until ordering even tbough we were handed the menu 5 minutes earlier. We had to ask for water near the end of the meal as it wasn't offered even though it was for other diners. It was supposed to be the highlight of our holiday from Australia and it let usdown. The castle is very cool. Very nice folks and a great bar and pool table. Dinner was good. Love the atmosphere. Room needs some updating. The heater didn’t keep the place very warm all night and the water in the bathroom was not warm enough to actually shower in.

Friendly staff, great location
