Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area- very short walking distance to Schonbrunn Palace and the zoo. Excellent breakfast and the staff was lovely.

Absolutely gorgeous property. It felt like living in a fairytale castle. All part of the European experience.

Our stay was disappointing, and unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel. The hotel is not as close to the main attractions as advertised. While there is one palace within about a 1 km walking distance, most other attractions require an Uber or taxi to reach. We were offered an upgrade from our booked Superior Room to premium room which initially seemed like a nice gesture. However, the following day we discovered ants all over the floor, which significantly affected our experience. The TV remote did not work throughout our entire stay. We reported the issue to the front desk, but no action was taken. After waiting without any response, we eventually gave up reporting it. Overall, the lack of maintenance, inaccurate promotion regarding the location, and poor response to reported issues made our stay disappointing. I would not stay here again.

The property had a great location and has air conditioning. The water pressure and temperature was great. Our room had some ants which is why I didn't give it a 5 star review. The beds were confidant and the rooms quiet

We stayed for an initial five nights, and loved it enough to rebook for a further three nights after a trip to Prague. The hotel itself is excellent: old-world elegance, spacious rooms, and an unbeatable location opposite Schönbrunn Palace. Throughout our stay, the housekeeping, buffet and most staff we encountered were warm, professional, and helpful. Unfortunately, our 2nd check-in on 23 June 2026 was marred by two front desk staff whose conduct fell well below the standard. The first was a young, thin, fair man with the beginnings of a beard. He was sarcastic from the outset, first when quoting €200 to wash three shirts (seemingly testing how I'd react to the price), and again at check-in, when he repeated "hello, how are you" in a pointedly sarcastic tone after I'd already answered him. This kind of attitude has no place at a front desk. The second incident was worse. Our AC wasn't working, and since the room phones were also not functioning, I went down to reception to report it. An older gentleman with a grey moustache said the fault mine, telling me to check that the windows were properly closed. I went back up, confirmed the windows were sealed, and returned to report this. Rather than acknowledging the issue, he became rude and dismissive, claiming the hotel was fully booked and no technician was available, and seemed irritated that I'd approached the desk from a different angle than he expected. Working air conditioning is a basic part of what you pay for, and bein

The hotel is like staying in a palace. It is utterly charming with big chandeliers everywhere! The reception area is large & open with plenty of easy chairs to sit & steps up to the bar & lounge. Staff on reception & bar are extremely welcoming & helpful & speak English. Our room was large & airy with big windows & double doors out to a small balcony with table & chairs overlooking the garden. The bed was supersize & very comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe space, hospitality tray & fridge, desk & 2 armchairs & coffee table. The bathroom was massive with bath/shower & sink/vanity unit. The toilet was in a separate room off the bathroom & also had it's own sink. The room had air conditioning which was great as it was 36 degrees outside! Everywhere in the hotel was immaculately clean. What can I say about breakfast? There was absolutely everything you could possibly want & to suit all tastes. There was a warm good morning greeting for guests by all the staff. Food was delicious, freshly prepared & staff made sure everything was replenished when needed. The breakfast room is massive, with a lovely outside garden area too so no problem getting seated. The hotel is across the road from the beautiful Schonbrunn Palace & gardens & the U4 is 5 mins walk away. I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel, it made our stay in Vienna extra special & we would be delighted to stay here again.

Although not bang in the centre of Vienna the hotel is well served with public transport. It is also very close to a side entrance to Shonnbrunn palace gardens which are lovely. We were in a budget room which was fine. There were were some problems with tv and we were offered an alternative room. It is pleasantly quiet with cafes, resturaunts and bakeries close by

The Premium rooms are superb but to be charged double for the standard sized ones is pretty poor. If you are over 5'6" in height it's like swinging a cat!
