We stayed at Veriu Hotel during our Melbourne trip over the long weekend. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were given a standard room instead of the 1-bedroom suite we had booked through Hotels.com⁠. Naturally, I raised the issue, and Manny at Veriu Hotels & Suites⁠ was incredibly helpful in sorting everything out. Although the room couldn’t be changed straight away, Manny kindly provided us with a complimentary rollaway bed and personally helped organise the refund process with Hotels.com. I really appreciate that both the hotel and Hotels.com were willing to work together to find a fair solution for us. Things didn’t start perfectly, but thanks to Manny’s excellent service and support, the situation was handled professionally. Thanks heaps!

The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and well equipped. The only thing I didn't enjoy was getting woken up by the noise of traffic around 5am. I would say avoid rooms facing the market. Alternatively, the hotel should offer ear plugs to guests or install double glazing for the comfort of their guests. I was fortunate that I had earplugs with me but I couldn't go back to sleep.

Solo stay

The staff were absolutely amazing and very accommodating. Room was a nice size and very clean. Location was excellent for the Winter Night Market. Indoor pool was a great bonus, as I got to go swimming in winter!

Great long weekend stay. Stayed at that hotel again due to Great location. They have charging for EVs, but will be good to have only EV cars park in those spots so we can charge.
