Great value hotel. Staff were great. Very helpful on getting us info for transportation using the light rail which is just across the street from hotel. Would be nice if the pool was heated. Breakfast was adequate. Room was clean.

The property was conveniently located within easy access to major highways. The front desk was manned 24 hours and the staff was helpful. The only issue we had was the funky AC unit, which was loud when it turned on and off, and we couldn't run the fan only for air movement. The AC unit controls could not be changed, only the temp. So either we were freezing or it got warm quickly. But that's the only complaint. All else was good.

A couple of Locals here. This Red Lion is a good spot - near highways and not too far from downtown Bellevue. The staff are 5 Star folks; friendly and kind. Really the only issue holding them back is that they charge for overnight parking, which is just a $15-20 gouging that is not warranted for the area it is in. Especially considering that they have plenty of parking lot and are technically not in an urban or city area that would justify charging customers a surprising fee for such a vacant parking lot. The $15-$20 we saved on the nightly rate we ended up paying the hotel. Not a big deal but customers care about the little fees you add to “us”.

This hotel did not meet my expectations as far as cleanliness goes. There was somebody else's hair on the bathtub wall and hair/lint on the tub floor. I was very concerned and disgusted when I noticed several cobwebs in the corner near the floor closest to the window. If you're looking for a modern hotel, this one is not it. Popcorn ceilings, wall paper on the walls and regular lamps with no plugs on them. Speaking of plugs, I had to plug my phone in in the bathroom because there were no extra outlets on my side of the bed. The lamp and the alarm clock occupied the one plug on my side. The TV was updated but for some reason we had to hold it down for like 10 seconds for it to come on. And 10 seconds for it to turn off. Fridge and microwave seemed okay but we did not use them much. Bring your own sleep mask if you want to keep it dark longer in the mornings because the curtains let in plenty of light in the morning.

Google took us to the back of the place and there were no signs pointing to the lobby. There are no room numbers on the doors to make it easier to find the rooms. Please improve signage. Everything else was good.

Good

I stayed in room 274 it’s directly across from the ice machine and vending machine. there is no partition to help with the sound. There was people getting ice at all hours. It was anwful. Also the vending machine says $2 for drinks with cash but the up charge to use a card is $5 and they blocked the cash hole. So $7 for a drink but it was sold out of water anyways. Front desk vending was also sold out of water. Room was a little dingy but overall clean and staff was polite.

The rooms were clean, but it was very strong with room spray. The girls at the desk were very unfriendly. Never smiled, and didn't talk much. It was clean building and couldn't hear the freeway which was awesome!

We had a fire alarm go off at 10:15 pm by a kid and then our alarm for the room went off twice starting at midnight till I unplugged it. The front evening greeter was on her phone and didn’t look up when we walked up to the counter.
