This tour was the highlight of my first day in Japan. Matt is an incredible guide. He shared fascinating background about Enoshima and Atami that brought the locations to life. He never rushed us as we had plenty of time to soak in the views and grab photos.
I appreciate Matt’s thoughtfulness. When I realized I had forgotten my phone charging cable and asked where I could buy one, he did not just point me to a store. . . he handed me his own cable to use. That kind of kindness is rare. He saved my phone battery for the photos. 👍
He also gave us 2 of the "must-visit" spots for first-timers in Tokyo and what to watch out for.
The fireworks were breathtaking and Matt’s guidance made the experience completely stress-free.
This is definitely a bookmark-worthy experience.

Thank you so much to our exceptional guide Kevin for the wonderful tour!! Even though we were the only English-speaking group, he still diligently translated his explanations, guides, tips, and instructions for us. Very approachable and kind. His photography skills are also good. He made sure to look after us throughout the tour and gave recommendations on where to eat dinner. When I accidentally left my wallet in the mini van, he was also very quick to respond and personally made sure I got my wallet back. We enjoyed the tour even though it was quite cloudy. Our favorite stop was Lake Hill Farm; it was so relaxing to hang out at the back with a view of Mount Yotei. We didn’t feel rushed and had ample time to take pictures in most stops. The cruise was a nice experience but we felt like the fireworks were a bit underwhelming. There were plenty of other tourists so it’s best to try to go early and save spots with a good view. Overall a great pleasant tour!

Our tour guide, Ella, was very professional in her explanations and helped us purchase tickets. Her time management was excellent, allowing us to visit sites efficiently. I give her five stars.
My main concern was that the mini-bus drove extremely fast. It was the fastest I've experienced in Japan (we didn't even take the highway on this trip). Combined with numerous potholes and hairpin turns, the vehicle often vibrated. On the return night drive, I was frequently worried about the speed affecting our safety. Perhaps the packed itinerary meant the driver had to rush.
As other reviews have mentioned, the bear farm isn't a necessary stop. Also, the Lake Toya fireworks were very small and lacked music. If you've seen other artistic fireworks displays in Japan, you might not need to include the Lake Toya fireworks on your viewing list.

It’s really worth it to get myself a reserved seat at the Lake Suwa Hanabi. The whole place was so crowded but the whole experience became so pleasant with a reserved seat. There were toilets just dedicated to the guests for reserved area. And we managed to eat the bento and then watched the fireworks on our seats. The fireworks were amazing and wonderful to view from such a close distance. Highly recommended.
