Things to do in Chongqing

everything about the tour was great. thank you to the team and also driver/guide Xiao Yang for being so Candid during the whole tour. he told us interesting facts about Chongqing along the way and brought us to a fantastic restaurant for lunch. he was kind and helpful and checked up on us via WeChat during self-guided parts of the trip. highly recommended!

The excursion was fantastic! Our guide, Nancy, accompanied us flawlessly throughout the day. She was always very kind and available to answer all our questions and meet our needs. All the activities planned for the tour were fully honored. It was a very pleasant day discovering truly enchanting places.

Itinerary was straight forward and not rushed. Able to have time to walk through and enjoyed the scenery. Guide was informative and updated us with info along the way. He also gave us tips on taking photos inside. Ride was smooth, lunch place was at mid mountain which would cost abit more. Of cos, the scenery was gorgeous.

it was a fun experience. there were varieties of food, including hotpot with meat, mushroom and fresh vegetables. nice dance and singing performances. the stage, lighting and the surrounding screen adds to the overall vibes. kudos to the staff who have to serve and clear heavy platings for each guest and ensure it’s done before the lights out for each performance. performers did a good job as well, engaging with the audience. only thing I hope the words at the screen were clearer so those at the back can actually read the words clearer. overall, highly recommended!

Mr Liu was friendly and informative. He contacted us the day before to arrange for pick up, and provided the itinerary for our reference. Bottled water was provided for the trip and he is always in contact.

The motorcycle ride was thrilling and yet feels safe at the same time. As I was rushing to the airport, the motorcycle rider helped to expedite the video shooting. The video shoot was very fast and smooth as it finished within one shot. (骑摩托车既刺激又安全。由于我赶着去机场，摩托车手帮我加快了视频拍摄的速度。整个拍摄过程非常迅速流畅，一次就完成了。)

I completely understand why this gets 5 stars—it is easily one of the coolest shows I’ve seen. The standout feature is definitely the 360-degree seating, which actually rotates the audience around to follow different massive sets as they change. The production value is top-notch, using great special effects, lighting, and aerial stunts that make you feel like you're right in the middle of a movie. It tells a pretty heavy, emotional story about the city's history right before the 1949 liberation, and the cast does an amazing job keeping the energy up. If you're visiting Chongqing, it's definitely worth checking out.

After purchasing, someone will add you on WeChat or WhatsApp. Provide your order number, and they will send you a QR code one day before your departure. You can then use this QR code to redeem your admission ticket at the ticket validation machine in the visitor center, which is very convenient. Ultimately, fewer people board from the South Bank. The items in the shops on the South Bank and North Bank are somewhat different, so if you see something you like, buy it then. There are many photo opportunities on the stairs at the North Bank arrival point. If you board from the South Bank, the scenery across the way is more beautiful for photos. Conversely, if you board from the North Bank, the scenery of the South Bank for photos is relatively ordinary!

absolutely mind blowing experience. I definitely recommend visiting at sunset/evening to see the city come alive. I feel that you get really good value for money as the sky walk is quite long along with multiple photo points and access to the entire sky park area. £20 also seems very reasonable for the insane views considering what I’d spend at home for a similar experience. all in all this was probably the highlight of our time in Chongqing and I 100% recommend!!
