What to expect
The day starts with a hotel pickup at 9:30 am, followed by a safety briefing and fitting of biking equipment at our base. We will then take a short 30-minute drive to Wat Doi Suthep, located at 1100 meters, to start the hike up to the old Hmong Hill Tribe Village at the summit of Doi Pui National Park, which stands at an elevation of 4593 feet/1400 meters.
The trek leads through the breathtaking highland jungle, abundant with the primary Mai Yai tree, unique to this region. After 2 + hours of selected trekking , we will reach our destination at the village, where our bikes and gear will be waiting for us. Note : The duration and exact trail of the hiking portion may vary during wet season and dry season. We aim to hike the best suited trails such as to include the Summit hike and the Waterfall region as well . After a light lunch break at the Hmong Village near the summit, we will begin our descent on mountain bikes through the National Park, which will take approximately two hours to reach Lake Huay Tung Tao, located at an elevation of 1213 feet/370 meters.
Unlike the uphill hike, this time gravity will work in our favor, providing a refreshing downhill ride with picturesque views of the Mae Ping Valley. We will be greeted by a sumptuous late lunch and cool beverages upon arrival at the lakeside. Take a refreshing dip before heading back to the truck for the journey out of the National Park.
You can expect to be back at your hotel around 5:30 pm.

It was a REAL adventure!! Firstly, be aware that this tour is definitely NOT for everyone, especially for those who rarely exercise. However, for travelers who used to do casual hiking and biking (not necessarily mountain biking), and hope to have some adventures outside of Chiang Mai old town, don't hesitate, you will like this tour! Nice natural sceneries, meals both before and after the hike/ride, and friendly guides!:)
Great tour with an experienced and knowledgeable tour guide. Hiking up and mountain biking down both a bit challenging, but very rewarding with a chance to see lots of beautiful scenery.
The guide and tour company were great! NOTE: 250 Baht per person park entrance fee is not included in Klook price. On time. Very professional. The up hill along side some waterfalls is steep and challenging. You definitely need a guide. If the trail was wet, it would be slick with leaves. The first hour to 90 minutes is very steep. Then, you vary between fire roads and trails. All have varying inclines, but not like the endurance challenge at the waterfall ascent. Views going up don't really exist. You're just working on going up. When you reach the Hmong village restaurant for lunch there are great view. At that point you shift to mountain bikes. The descent is on dirt roads used by villagers on motorbikes and pickup trucks. Really great views as you descending on the north side of the mountain. Farms. Territorial views. The rutted dirt roads provide some bike riding challenges, but the guide is helpful with inexperienced mountain bikers.
So chill and adventure! If you like to experience a different feeling of travel, be sure to join this hiking and cycling trip, you will definitely not be disappointed! !
An amazing experience with Chiangmai Mountain Biking and Kayaks. The Nature Trail is peaceful and had great views but the downhill steps to KCK village need good shows. As I'm an amateur cyclist the downhill off-road biking was fun yet challenging but the guide Tui always made sure that I can complete it. Thanks for the memorable experience!
Very affordable and fun. The coach is professional and takes good care of the team members. This tour is not a sightseeing tour and you need to be in good physical condition to complete the tour. The process is hard and sweaty, and it allows you to go to places that are difficult to reach normally. I recommend it.
