Hualien: Carp Lake SUP Stand Up Paddleboard Experience

It was OK to arrange and communicate with reminders in advance. Taking photos during the event, the coach Alin was very attentive to taking pictures, which is very important for a group of girls. He could guide the postures and the viewing angles, and occasionally used humor to care about our learning progress. We were originally afraid of not standing SUP. In the end, I was encouraged by the coach. The successful standing process was easy and fun. We returned to the lake. I was so happy that I left singing songs and played until I was hungry. The coach also recommended us to eat seafood (Xinxin Noodle House). Thank you for the event arrangements❤

The instructor teaches very carefully, is chatty and funny and shares a lot of relevant knowledge. Each of us managed to stand up and played until we didn’t want to leave. I will come back to play with Coach Da next time^^

The instructor was absolutely amazing - so humorous and funny (and even hung out with us!😆). Their photography skills are top-notch👍🏻, and we got so many photos (check out this one of our backs😜). The teaching style was also easy to understand (even those too scared to stand up at first ended up succeeding 👏🏻). We booked super last minute, just two days before, and a lot of instructors were at the harvest festival, so it was hard to find someone. This instructor came all the way from Taipei to Hualien just to teach us and didn't cancel our booking (so touched🥹). The scenery at Liyu Lake is stunning. I highly, highly recommend this activity!😍

Highly recommend checking this place out! There are three instructors for all 14 of us, and the classes are comprehensive, ensuring everyone is well taken care of. The instructors are very attentive and teach everyone meticulously, so everyone quickly gets the hang of it. There are also many interactive games, and they diligently help everyone take photos, with three camera setups capturing many classic moments. Back at the B&B, we're all still reminiscing and having a blast 😂 The kids had an amazing time too!

There were only three of us hired by the instructor that day. The preparations and meeting place were clearly explained. The instructor was very careful and monitored our movements and range of activities at all times. We also took a bunch of beautiful photos for the Internet! ! It made our family members who were traveling in sup for the first time feel safe and interesting. Next time they want to challenge other waters. I went with my friends, and two of them couldn’t swim. The instructor taught me very well. It was the first time for everyone to play sup, but we all managed to stand up. The water in Liyu Lake is very calm and suitable for novices. There is also the most important part of taking pictures. I have to mention it. The coach is really good at taking pictures and took many photos. I was afraid of being offended because he rarely commented, but I didn’t expect to meet such a humorous and interesting coach. I came here specifically to leave a nice message of praise!

Highly recommend this one! You can ride a bike to the meeting place. The coach's speech is very humorous and funny. The video is also very beautiful. It is recommended that you apply more sunscreen when playing, bring an extra set of clothes, and enjoy it. Don't be nervous when entering the water.

Super lucky! My wife and I were the only two people in the group that day to book the boat directly at the Fish Lake. The weather was great and I was very happy to paddle. The instructor’s teaching was very professional! Every step was explained carefully and the photos were taken well. I highly recommend it in Hualien. Beautiful mountains and rivers! I hope you can come and visit more often
