- Pets and large items such as skis, surfboards, wheelchairs, and golf bags cannot be accommodated
- Shared Ride: Each person can bring a maximum of one 26-inch suitcase (infants and children can also bring one piece).
- Private Car Options: A 5-seater car can carry a maximum of 2 pieces of 26-inch luggage; a 9-seater car can carry a maximum of 7 pieces of 26-inch luggage.

Shared Ride Plan
- The minimum number of passengers for a shared ride is 4. If the minimum number is not met one day before the trip, you will be notified to change the schedule or cancel the order.
- This product is a shared ride service. To protect the rights of other passengers, please arrive at the meeting point 10-15 minutes before the designated time. No waiting for latecomers; latecomers cannot use this as a reason to request order modification, cancellation, or refund.
- This service is a shared ride. The route and pick-up order will be arranged according to the daily dispatch, not a fixed direct route. Possible routes include: Zuoying HSR Station to Kaohsiung Main Station to Donggang, or Kaohsiung Main Station to Zuoying HSR Station to Donggang, etc. It is also possible to pick up other passengers before heading to the destination. You cannot specify the route, stop order, or request a direct ride. The actual pick-up situation is subject to on-site arrangements, and there may be a 10-15 minute waiting time discrepancy.
- This product provides shared shuttle service. The actual vehicle used will be flexibly adjusted based on the number of passengers, and may include five-seater cars, nine-seater vans, medium-sized buses, or large buses.
- As shared shuttle vehicles will continuously travel between Kaohsiung city and Donggang area throughout the day, there may be delays due to traffic jams or force majeure factors. Dispatch personnel will contact you immediately to notify you, so please ensure your mobile phone is accessible.
- Due to many uncertainties with shared shuttle services, it is recommended to allow 1.5-2 hours for a one-way trip.
- The supplier will adjust the vehicle pick-up time based on the passenger’s pick-up location and traffic conditions on the day of travel. Pick-up information will be notified to passengers via SMS or email before 22:00 (Taiwan time) one day before the designated pick-up date. If the passenger fills in a Taiwan mobile number on the payment page, they will be notified by SMS; for international mobile numbers, they will be notified by email or instant messaging software. If you do not receive pick-up information, please email service@routortravel.com, and night customer service personnel will assist you.
- If you are in any of the following situations, it is recommended to book a private car: 1. You wish to specify the pick-up time and location. 2. You have a large number of luggage items or are traveling with pets.
Private Car Plan
- Daytime service hours: 07:00 - 21:00
- Nighttime service hours: 21:01 - 06:59. An additional TWD 300 will be charged for pick-ups and drop-offs during nighttime service hours.
- The driver will adhere to the "pick-up time" filled in by the customer, with a free waiting time of 10 minutes. Please ensure you fill in the correct pick-up time and arrive at the pick-up location on time on the day of departure.
- If the customer is late and the driver or supplier cannot successfully contact them, it will be considered a no-show. The driver will wait for 10 minutes and then leave, and no refund will be provided.
- If the driver or supplier receives notification from the passenger and continues to wait and completes the service, an overtime fee will be charged on-site: starting from the initially agreed pick-up time, TWD 200 for every 30 minutes, with less than half an hour calculated as half an hour.
- The supplier will contact passengers between 20:00-23:00 (Taiwan time) one day before the designated pick-up date. If the passenger fills in a Taiwan mobile number on the booking page, they will be contacted by SMS or phone; for international mobile numbers, they will be notified by email or instant messaging software. If you do not receive pick-up information, please contact the supplier immediately: service@routortravel.com.
Child Safety Seats
- According to Taiwan law, children aged 0-4 traveling in "cars with 9 seats or less" must use a qualified child safety seat according to their age and body type. "Buses with 10 seats or more" do not require one. If you are traveling with children aged 0-4, please book a child safety seat in advance, and the supplier will provide it according to the vehicle arranged on the day.
- Please note that children aged 0-4 must purchase a seat to ride.

Used this service both going from Kaohsiung to Donggang and return. Customer service is very proactive and reach out a day before for pick up instructions and details. On the return leg from Donggang to Kaohsiung, customer service advise other passenger's schedule so we can arrange our ferry time accordingly. This help us save some money by sharing the ride with other passengers. Car is in great conditions and clean.
Everything went really smoothly. The drivers were driving good, were punctual and the communication via WhatsApp worked very well! made the transfer easy, quick and comfortable.
The driver arrived at the pick-up location on time. He also responded to messages very efficiently and proactively asked about the actual boat schedule. Unfortunately, the departure time was delayed to wait for the people who were merging with him.

I was very worried about no-shows after seeing posts from people who had experienced them elsewhere. I emailed from Korea and headed to Kaohsiung when I hadn't heard anything until the day before my reservation. After arriving in Kaohsiung (around 2 PM), I received a message asking me to wait a little longer, along with a LINE ID. My departure was scheduled for 8 AM the next day, but I hadn't heard from the driver by 6 PM the day before, so I contacted the company using the LINE ID I received in the email. Only after communicating using Papago was I able to get information about the vehicle type and license plate, and I was able to board on time on the day of my reservation. To my fellow Koreans!!!! If you don't hear from the driver, I recommend contacting the company by email and LINE... I thought I was going to be a no-show waiting for the driver to contact me, and I was so anxious I thought I was going to die...
The driver was easy to communicate with, and the pick-up time was flexible. It was very convenient to travel from Donggang to Zuoying Station! Suitable for a family of four for simple outings, faster than the bus, and no need to worry about waiting for the bus.
Because we missed our scheduled ferry, we weren't able to get to Donggang Pier at the specified time... We had already contacted the driver to tell them not to wait for us, resigning ourselves to the loss and planning to book another ride 😭. But the driver spoke with the other passengers and they agreed to wait for us! We were so touched – the bad mood from missing the ferry instantly lifted by half 🥰.
We booked a 9 AM pickup, and theoretically, we should have departed at 9 AM. However, when the time came, two people hadn't shown up, and the driver couldn't reach them by phone. So, after taking photos and reporting the situation, we set off. We had barely stopped at one traffic light and made a U-turn when the dispatch company called, saying they had located the missing passengers on the other side of the train station (the front station). The dispatch company then instructed the driver to go pick them up... So, our entire group ended up driving around the front and back of the station for about 15 minutes just for them before we finally departed... Seeing them casually holding convenience store coffees really made me angry; they should have been left behind for being so late. (Foreign tourists speaking Chinese)
