Reviews
We started at Bomun Pavillion, a quiet place with lots of Cherry Blossom. It’s almost the end of the Cherry Blossom season but the trees are still beautiful, pavements are covered with pink petals. Next, we went near Jung-do Tower at Hwangnyongwon and ate lunch afterwards. Then, we went to Bomun Lake, enjoyed lots of cherry blossom trees in the walkway. The lake offers a serene, scenic backdrop. It was a great trip, definitely would recommend. Our tour guide Jin is very helpful, took lots of nice pictures, and communicates in Chinese and English very well. Tina, was also excellent, and I truly enjoyed their wonderful company throughout the trip. It was refreshing and unhurried. Truly an unforgettable first solo trip for me. :)
Visited on April 7, 2026. This trip included Bulguksa Temple, Bomun Tourist Complex (the guide extended our stay by 30 minutes), and Daereungwon. The weather was excellent, and the cherry blossoms were beautiful. Our Chinese-speaking guide, Ms. Jin Jinlan, was very kind and enthusiastic, spoke fluent Chinese, and provided clear and experienced explanations. The itinerary ran smoothly. It's very convenient if you want to visit several cherry blossom spots in one go; highly recommended! Notably, while lunch was self-paid, we were taken to a specific restaurant where they hoped we would dine (Korean home-style buffet for 9,900 Korean Won per person). The food was actually quite good, with plenty of vegetables, and it was economical. However, those with specific dietary needs (e.g., strict vegetarians) should be aware. Overall, the experience was excellent!
Great itinerary. The tour group arranged to go to Gyeongju Bomun Lake and Daereungwon to enjoy the cherry blossoms. I was happy and moved to see the cherry blossoms in full bloom and the cherry blossoms blowing snow. It is particularly worth mentioning that Cindy and Juna are the best tour guides I have ever met. We once joined the wrong tour group and lost our phone. Along the way, Cindy and Juna helped us contact and find the phone with very limited clues. In fact, they didn't need to help, they were just enthusiastic. At the end of the trip, Cindy was still worried about our language barrier and accompanied us to retrieve the phone. I was really touched. If I can give 5,000 stars, I would be happy to give it. This is an excellent travel experience!
What a wonderful day with much of the credit to our excellent tour guides, Mimi and Cindy. They were extremely knowledgeable and kind. Mimi was quick to answer any question or take a picture. Traveling solo, Cindy took the time to personally make sure I was happy. The cherry blossoms were amazing! The history of the area was fascinating, highlighted by a visit to the royal tombs. The bus ride was smooth and comfortable. It was a experience of a lifetime.
I participated in the Gyeongju Cherry Blossom One-Day Tour on April 7th. The itinerary was well-planned and excellent, and the weather was beautiful. It was a joy to see the World Heritage Sites paired with the blooming cherry blossoms. Our tour guide, Kim Geum-ran (LAN), was very kind. In the morning, she arranged a visit to Bulguksa Temple, and in the afternoon, she took everyone to the Bomun Tourist Complex, where the flowers were magnificent. The final stop, the Daereungwon area, was also stunning. Thank you to our tour guide for the arrangements and companionship; everything was very satisfactory! They went out of their way to arrange an English-speaking tour guide, even though only a small number of people booked the English tour that day. The guide was friendly, understanding, and punctual throughout. I would 100% recommend this tour!
Our tour guide DK and Cindy are awesome. They took good care of everyone and answered my endless questions. It felt like I was in a private tour and DK even went so far as to accompany me to the restroom midway trip. Thank you for that DK, really appreciate that! As for the cherry blossom, it was so beautiful in Bomunho Lake, it’s full of cherry blossoms and falling petals floating around. There were less cherry blossoms at Daereungwon Tomb, but it’s still very nice place to visit as they have other flowers (tulips, narcissus, etc) and very interesting history to know. I also enjoyed Hwangnidan-gil full of cafes, artsy stores, etc. They also have some cherry blossoms and some very pretty blossoms. Overall it was a very nice tour which will be perfect 10 if I had gone 2 days earlier, as it would be full bloom in Daerungwon. I highly recommend DK (English speaker) and Cindy’s (Chinese speaker) as your tour guides! They’re very nice and fun to talk to.
This tour is satisfactory in terms of concept and execution, and the guides Justin and Kelvin did a great job in herding the group and keeping us on schedule despite the large group size and difficult traffic. Justin, the English guide, was friendly and attentive, and also very helpful in taking photos of us. It is unfortunate that the cherry blooming season is only starting, so we didn’t get to see a very rich cherry blossom scenery as wished. But at least we get to visit 2 of the main attractions of Gyeongju.
This tour is the best! We visited 3 cherry blossom spots in Gyeonggju. It is in full bloom when we visited! Bonus is we were also able to visit the historic sites in Gyeonggju on top of the cherry blossom sites. Jake, our tour guide, is very helpful. He helped us take good pictures too!
It has been a fantastic day in Gyeongju with Victoria as our tour guide. She's very friendly and helpful; giving us the information we need and always extend a helping in taking photos & assist in ordering our lunch. All of us enjoyed the trip and Victoria's presence.
