Saffron Cruise by Banyan Tree Bangkok

If you're looking for a peaceful and comfortable night cruise on the Chao Phraya River in Thailand, choosing Banyan Tree Saffron is an excellent decision. At the designated time, report to the reception counter outside ICONSIAM, and staff will guide you to the designated pier for boarding. The process is convenient and smooth. The onboard facilities are comfortable, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The service staff are also very friendly and attentive. First, head to the open-air deck to enjoy a welcome drink, then waitstaff will escort you to the indoor cabin for a four-course dinner. The food quality is good, especially the soup and main course, which were particularly delicious and memorable. As it was my friend's birthday, they even presented a birthday cake and offered a commemorative photo. When we reached Wat Arun, the highlight of the Chao Phraya River, the boat paused briefly, allowing guests to go up to the open-air deck to take photos. The entire experience was very comfortable and pleasant, with a superb atmosphere.

it’s a beautiful cruise, service is excellent. It is a much better experience if you would aiming for a more luxury choice, they serve you welcome drinks so you could hang sometime on the deck and went to thw lower deck, which was very grand in design for dinner, the server is excellent and welcoming. after the dinner they will ask you to upper deck and take photo for you, the whole experience is warm happy, I went there for my boyfriend birthday and he enjoyed very much too. unlike the other option they have a full 3-hours cruise and it’s enjoyable

We celebrated my mother’s birthday aboard Saffron Cruise, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience. I really appreciated that the team arranged a small cake for my mom’s birthday after I mentioned that we were coming to celebrate her birthday. It was a thoughtful gesture and made the occasion feel more special. The staff were also very friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our visit. They even proactively offered to help take photos for us, which we really appreciated. The only downside would be the pricing of the drinks, which we found rather expensive, including the plain water. 😅 Other than that, we enjoyed the experience and the warm hospitality from the team.

This time, we chose the Banyan Tree's Saffron cruise for a four-course meal. This boat is more upscale compared to other buffet-style cruises. Upon boarding, we were offered a welcome drink and had the opportunity to take photos at the top deck bar or at our tables, enjoying drinks before departure. The staff provided excellent service, even helping with lighting for photos. The food was decent, but the main draw was the ambiance and experience. Towards the end, the captain even stopped in front of Wat Arun for guests to take pictures, which was a nice touch.

This was one of the best dinner cruises along Chao Phraya River. Food was excellent and the cruise had just the right number of guests for it to be enjoyable and not too crowded. Service was excellent. But take note they don’t serve service water, either you order drinks onboard or bring your own water. But they do serve 1 round of welcome drinks upon boarding, but that’s it. Still a beautiful dinner cruise all in all.

First time in Thailand and Saffron Cruise was magical! Great food, stunning views of Chao Phraya, and super warm service. Sulit na sulit!

First, just one thing I'd like to see improved. The voucher said to check in at ICONSIAM an hour in advance, but the staff didn't show up until 6:30 pm, haha! It took a while to confirm the reservation for this popular cruise, which was frustrating, but I understood why it's so popular! Other cruises I've been on in the past involved a mad rush to the buffet and loud music that made people want to dance, which isn't really my thing anymore, haha. But the scenery while enjoying a delicious, calm course meal was amazing! The staff were also wonderful and took care of my mother, who has trouble with stairs. Thank you for your thoughtfulness!

Appreciated the whole experience - quality and flavourful food, lovely cruise down the river but service and attention to details were slightly lacking. But still a positive experience.

cozy, intimate & not crowded. they even gave us complimentary cake for our anniversary.food was amazing!
