We had a great time with Siu, who was very attentive and friendly. The recipes were well-chosen and easy to make. We loved tasting these typical Malacca sweets. It's a must-do activity. After the workshop, we visited the Jaya Mata Knife Museum. It was a great discovery. The products sold in the shop are of good quality and at affordable prices.
we had an amazing time at the cooking class and in the knife gallery!! auntie sue was lovely and helped us through every step making yummy traditional desserts, really recommend!! all the staff were so friendly and the knife gallery and shop was fun and unique!
We had so much fun at the cooking class. The staff and cooking instructor were very friendly and guided us well. We even get to pack the dishes that we had prepared. Worth it!
Love the session with Auntie Siew! Wonderful sweet lady that patiently taught us the steps of making yummy Ondeh Ondeh and Bobo Cha Cha! The desserts were really authentic tasting! Reminds me of childhood! Great place to learn the making of the desserts and educational walk through the knife museum, its a walk through the past. They sell good quality kitchen tools!
It was fun. I made two desserts, which were very easy. (I can't remember the names^^;) If there were more people, it would have taken longer, but since there were only a few people, we finished very quickly. The knife museum was very interesting. The man who guided the tour was really interesting and explained things in a fun way.
Would have given a 5 star if they informed us in advance that their timing changed from 2.30pm to 2pm. Class was a little rushed because of that. otherwise a good experience
Amazing experience, especially for my picky son who usually isn't keen to try new food, even local food, but he managed to try the Onde Onde + Bubur Cha Cha which he made. Most importantly, the class is lead by a wonderful auntie instructor, patient and accomodating.
Class was highly engaging and the trainer ensured that every pair of participants in the class can keep up and learn in a safe environment. The pace of the class was just right, and we could bring back the desserts after class too! Highly recommend!
Easily located in Jonker Street, the entire experience was very fun. We made everything from scratch, the staff who taught us was also very friendly and made the whole experience much more enjoyable.
the instructor was detailed in explaining the steps. As we arrived early, the museum staff also gave us a short tour of the place. overall, the staff were all very friendly, warm and welcomed us to their place!
