What to expect
Prepare for an epic adventure on our Day Trip to Mtskheta, Gori and Uplistsikhe – a group tour in Georgia! We’ll begin exploring the ancient Uplistsikhe cave-town, with its awesome rock-cut vibes and mixed culture.
Then, we’re heading to Gori, Stalin’s hometown, for a dive into soviet history at the Stalin Museum.
You can chill in the city or go on your own little exploration during your free time.
Next, we’ll hit the 6th-century Jvari Monastery, which sits pretty on a mountain and offers fantastic views of Mtskheta.
This UNESCO World Heritage spot has that spiritual vibe going strong.
Your tour will end at the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a cultural masterpiece with ornate carvings and frescoes.

We had a good experience on this trip, pickup was well coordinated and vehicle was comfortable and clean. The places we visited were very beautiful and historic, views were amazing. Our guide Deme was very helpful and informative, he shared a lot of historical context about the places with us. He was very interactive and made sure everyone was enjoying. Our driver Mikho was responsible and drove safely. Lunch was arranged in Gori for GEL 45 (optional) and it was totally worth it, delicious food and so many varities. Highly recommend this trip!
This was an awesome tour!! Nina was a wonderful guide, and Misha was a great driver and very safe. The information was thorough and the tour was not rushed. Adequate time was provided at each stop. Definitely participate in the lunch feast. If you love food, you will not be disappointed!
