A scenic spot to visit when traveling to Hengchun, suitable for taking elementary school children to play. They provide pasture for children to feed gentle small animals, which is a great experience. There was a capybara that was injured and moved more slowly, so I specially fed it more pasture, hoping it would recover. You can collect points to exchange for discounts and buy products inside. The soft serve ice cream and sausage are quite delicious. The autumn and winter seasons are not too hot, so the travel quality is very good. I met a snake expert inside and learned a lot about snakes.

This is a great place to visit with kids when you're in Hengchun! Although the park isn't particularly large, the layout is clear, and the animals (capybaras, sika deer, goats) are all very gentle. The kids had a blast feeding them grass. The staff are very diligent about cleaning, and animal waste is quickly removed. The stamp collection activity designed within the park really captivated the children, and once completed, they could even use it for a discount at the shop. It's a perfect parent-child attraction for about an hour of relaxation.

Small but well-laid-out park with gentle animals that are kind to children and well cared for. The caretakers are educational and guide the visit with explanations. The animals allow themselves to be petted. There are capybaras, goats, and deer. You can wander freely among them and feed them. Be sure to book the swimming with capybaras activity in advance or check availability, as it is not always open if you register on-site at the last minute. Some days do not allow it. A treasure hunt with stamps to collect allows you to get a discount in the shop.

Very Japanese style inside! Unique! Clean! You can get up close and personal with the animals and feed them! It was a novel experience for our first time! The kids had a great time. We'll definitely come back if we have the chance! Thanks! A great place for the kids to burn off energy on the weekend! 👍👍

It's pretty fun, but the merchandise inside is really expensive. The discount coupons aren't very useful; even after buying six tickets with six coupons, we still had some left when we left. We didn't even use them! 😓 Going once and having fun is enough. Next time, we'll try a different place.🤣 Because once is enough, I wouldn't go a second time. It's not bad, but one visit is enough.🤣 Oh, and at the beginning, the staff at the counter seemed a little unfamiliar with the ticket process, so we spent about five minutes at the counter. 😬 Other than that, everything else was fine and fun 😁. The free keychains are as pictured.

The park is a bit small, but you can really get close to the animals: pygmy goats, kids, deer, and of course, capybaras. With the provided forage, you can feed everyone. There's a small stamp collecting game that allows you to get a $50 discount at the shop. We also tasted the milk ice cream, which was good. There was a special event when we visited, and we got to touch and wear snakes around our necks. It was great.

A new scenic spot for check-ins and photos – Kenting Luerdao Capybara Ecological Park
Upon entering the park, you can feed and interact with capybaras up close without additional payment.
The only capybara co-swimming experience in Taiwan, playing and swimming with capybaras in the pool (requires additional reservation with the official park).

Things to note

The following behaviors are prohibited in the park:

Feeding animals with food not sold in the park
Smoking (including e-cigarettes)
Attacking, chasing, or maliciously startling animals in the park
Children under 3 years old walking on their own, or children under 110CM left unattended
Running, jumping, screaming
Consuming outside food or drinks
Breaking branches
Bringing animals/pets into the park

Violators who repeatedly ignore verbal warnings will be directly asked to leave the park, and no refunds will be given.
