it was definitely a good experience notwithstanding the bus ride to the Gorge was pretty long. The Gorge cruise was amazing, with close up visual of the beautiful gorge.
Expect long travel time in the bus. Total mileage is 800km, 14 hrs tour. Our driver guide, Chris, was very friendly and tried his best to give us the best experience. However, due to some hiccups, we couldn't spend much time at the Edith falls. The pool was closed as well. The 2 hour gorge cruise was a good experience! The sandrocks were amazing. Overall, great experience!
Magnificient views of the gorge from the boat rides. A very enjoyable day trip.
We really loved the gorge tour, it was spectacular and the tour guide and driver were great. However the day was very rushed & it was a VERY long drive when you add all the toilet stops (about 4hrs each way). There was no time to stop and look at anything for more than a couple of minutes. We had 20 mins at Edith Falls, it was closed to swimming but even if it was open we wouldn't have had time to swim. Katherine Gorge tour is definitely a must see but if I could do it again I would prefer a 2 day trip to take my time.
