Blue Mosque Guided Tour in Istanbul

Our guide was good and explained the history of the place well. We lost the group and our guide after touring the Blue Mosque so the communications around that could have been better, especially considering the number of people inside the mosque. Enjoyed hearing the history and facts about the mosque though and got great photos

We were very happy to participate in the guided tour of the Blue Mosque with Elif's professional tour guide. The number of people we originally reserved for the tour was not enough, so we were combined with other tour groups. We didn't mind, so we heard more about the obelisk and the German fountain in Sultanahmet Square. , very interesting history! Elif explained the history of Türkiye very quickly, making it easier for us to get into the situation. Admission to the Blue Mosque is free, and the waiting time in line for security check is about 30 minutes. There are many tourists when the cruise ship docks. Fortunately, there is a toilet where the queue is. You need to take off your shoes and check your appearance before entering the mosque. Girls are allowed to wear T-shirts and pull up their hats before entering.

I was 10 minutes late at meet up point but the guide still waited for me with the group. really cared for his customers. he was relaxed n knew the history. highly recommend if you want to do paid group tour

they WhatsApp me one day in advance to inform that the tour was brought forward to 9am due to operational reasons (1 hour earlier) it was a bit rushed for us because it was raining and there was no shelter at the meeting point, we had to purchase umbrella nearby for S$16 🙈 the guide then came 10 minutes late (tho he was v friendly and knowledgeable) also had no tourmania flag, but he came to ask individually for our names. it was a small tour group (10 of us) 3 of them came late but managed to meet up at the blue mosque later. he said hoodie was enough for women to cover our heads, he continued the tour to Hagia Sophia with the rest of the group. but we ended there and then. wanted to tip him but he declined. overall, highly recommend.

It was a good Blue Mosque tour. We enjoyed the information that our guide shared. Roughly 45mins duration. Guide is very knowledgeable and pleasant. Overall we had a good time.

The tourguide berke was excellent. Explained everything very well and kept everything very interesting. Its very rare to have tourguide that good to continue the energy and enthusiasm having to do the same tour 6 days a week. The tour time was okay for morning not too long waiting. Thank you so much 👐🏻

The tour guide explained in great detail and also brought some pictures for us to better understand. After the activity, you can also pay extra to visit the Santa Fesua Cathedral with the tour guide (because I didn’t know that this could be arranged, I had already booked separate tickets to Hagia Sophia) Otherwise, I would very much like to continue visiting and explaining with the same tour guide.

The mosque itself is beautiful and the guide did really take us back in time and provide us interesting facts about the place.
