Four Spots Snorkelling Experience in Nusa Lembongan

It was a great experience! Although the start time was delayed a bit, I had fortunately allowed plenty of time with my pre-purchased boat ticket, so it didn't affect anything. The dive guide was excellent and very entertaining. I only know a little bit about freediving, and they gave me a lot of guidance and took many photos. We were incredibly lucky and saw several manta rays!

they provided equipment and water, picked us up and returned us to our hotel, the staff spoke English and were super charismatic and focused on safety. they were also great with the kids

I received the photos about a week after the activity ended! I was very happy to see dolphins and mantas! Robin, who led us snorkeling, was very friendly~! However, I thought we would gather directly at Sanur Port at first, and we spent a lot of time waiting on the day. I felt that we didn’t need to gather so early. One suggestion is to write down 08:45 Sanur gathering and check-in. Where is it in Sanur? It is at the following address: D'STARS Fast Ferry gathering, etc. Sanur Kaja, Denpasar Selatan, Denpasar City, Bali, Indonesia. This comment is also for those who can’t find where to gather, haha

The experience was incredible! Upon arrival at the pier, the staff immediately started our wonderful day. We went snorkeling at four spots near Nusa Lembongan, and manta rays swam right beneath us! The third spot was my favorite, with beautiful coral and tropical fish. After snorkeling and lunch, we began exploring Nusa Lembongan. The scenery was fantastic, and I wish we had stayed for a few days, haha.

Let me share my experience and thoughts to help you! The pick-up and drop-off service can be a bit unreliable. After picking us up, the driver first dropped us off at a shop near Lembongan harbor and then went to pick up other people. Once everyone was there, we got back on the car and went to the snorkeling meeting point, which seemed to be near the mangroves. Then they called out names to form groups and board the boats. There were a total of four snorkeling spots, each lasting about 15 minutes. The first one was Manta Bay, where the waves were incredibly huge. People with health issues or elderly individuals should not participate. Some people felt unwell and vomited there, and we didn't see anything. The following three spots were much calmer, with many fish and beautiful scenery. We returned to shore around 1:00 PM, so please plan your subsequent itinerary accordingly. For the return trip, the cars are reassigned, and it may not be the same driver as before. You need to be proactive and ask; don't just sit and wait at the tables and chairs.

We originally booked this as a day trip from Sanur, but as we were staying on Lembongan Island, the operator kindly arranged a different return boat for us. We really appreciated their flexibility. The waves were too strong to visit the manta ray spot, but we visited four other snorkeling spots instead. The water was surprisingly clear, and we saw lots of fish, which was great fun. Some spots were quite crowded with other groups and boats, so it was difficult to snorkel freely and safely. Still, overall, we really enjoyed the snorkeling experience.

Went to 4 different snorkelling spots all with a different vibe and filled with beautiful fish and coral, did not get to see the Manta rays though (it depends on your luck). But saw beautiful coral fish and turtles. The guides were all super helpful and really good at communication. Totally worth the money!

it was a great trip to snorkel in lembongan island. staff were all nice and kind. they took us the best 4 places. we saw many mantas and reefs were beautiful to see many fishes. definitely recommend!!
