Surfing Lesson in Kuta by Daddy and Mom Surfing School

I had an incredible time taking a surf lesson at Daddy & Mom Surf School! The teacher was super friendly, patient, and explained all the techniques clearly, making it easy to catch my first waves even as a beginner. On top of the great guidance, the lesson was very affordable for the top-notch quality you get. Surfing here is a total must-try experience when you're in Bali!

The surfing instructors were incredibly kind and provided detailed guidance, which made it easy for first-time learners to feel at ease and enjoy themselves. They gave individual attention to each person, so we felt confident about the children's safety, and thanks to them, the kids successfully stood up and balanced on the waves. Everyone finished surfing safely without any injuries, and it was a truly fun and unforgettable experience for the children. I confidently recommend this to families trying surfing for the first time!

Thank you so much to Coach Jojo! He explained everything in great detail and thoroughly corrected my movements during the on-land training. Thanks to that, I managed to stand up on the board successfully on my very first try in the water. I had an amazing two-hour experience. Coach Jojo is also incredibly encouraging and great at giving positive energy. He kept praising me the whole time, which really boosted my confidence. He always kept me safe and made me no longer afraid of water activities. I finally nailed getting up on the board and standing steadily. Huge thanks to Coach Jojo. Besides, the boss took fantastic photos and videos with plenty of footage for me to choose from.

I wanted my kids to learn surfing, so I compared reviews on Klook and made a reservation. What I was most satisfied with was that they prioritized the safety of the children and, on the day of the reservation, the waves were too high and dangerous for the children, so they told us to come back early the next morning. Sure enough, when we went early the next day, the waves were not high, so the kids could safely take surfing lessons, and both teachers were friendly, so the kids enjoyed the class. I was impressed with their focus on safety and the manager watching over the students during the lesson. The kids really enjoyed it, and they plan to come back for surfing lessons while staying in Bali. Thank you for the great class ^^

I booked from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and the instructor, Jojo, was excellent. He first taught us the moves on land and checked our progress one by one. Once in the water, it was also 1-on-1. He was very patient and protective. Most importantly, his emotional support was spot on. Jojo is great at finding waves, and since I'm quite athletic, I was able to stand up and surf after just a few tries. We worked together very well; he constantly praised and encouraged me. If I got wiped out by a wave, his first question was always, 'Are you okay?' If I felt tired, I could tell him, and he'd let me rest. He also mentioned that mornings and evenings are best for beginner surfers because the waves are just right and the scenery is stunning. When there were no waves or the waves were too big, Jojo would adjust my paddleboard in front of the sunset so I could enjoy the moment. I saw the golden coast, the glow of the setting sun, and the misty blue shallows. I will always remember this moment 🥰. Plus, while surfing, the owner was on the shore, helping to record with my phone. He was also very chatty and joked around a lot. It was truly wonderful! The sense of accomplishment from successfully surfing, Jojo's emotional support, and the owner's jokes made for a truly beautiful evening. I love Bali ❤️

This was my first time surfing, and it was a truly fun and satisfying experience! 🏄‍♀️🌊 I booked the surfing lesson through Klook, and Jojo was my instructor. I was a bit nervous at first, but before we even got in the water, Jojo explained everything from safety rules to how to ride the waves in such an easy and friendly way that I felt comfortable starting right away. Most importantly, Jojo spoke excellent Korean and made the lesson so enjoyable, which made learning a lot of fun. Every time I struggled to stand up or felt scared, Jojo kept encouraging me and boosting my confidence, which helped me bravely tackle the waves! At first, I wondered if I'd even be able to do it, but I ended up riding the waves myself, and it felt incredibly rewarding. 😊 I highly recommend this to anyone learning to surf for the first time. The instructor was kind, and the lesson was so much fun that time just flew by. It was such a satisfying surfing experience that I definitely want to do it again if I come back to Bali! I had such a wonderful time with the kind instructor's 1:1 personalized lessons and the actual class. I even regret only being able to surf for two days. They took great photos and videos, and I definitely plan to surf with Daddy&Mom again when I come back to Bali. I'm extremely satisfied.

My original travel plans fell through, so I ended up in Bali. When I think of Bali, surfing is all that comes to mind, so I searched around and made a last-minute reservation. I wanted to do sunset surfing, so I booked a 1:1 lesson for the 16:30~18:30 time slot. The weather wasn't great, so I couldn't do sunset surfing, but I met better teachers, Alex and David. Despite the tough 2-hour schedule and the waves that day, Alex held my board without complaint and kept his eyes on me until I was able to ride well. While surfing, large trees were being washed ashore, and he kept telling me to be careful. More than anything, I felt he was a professional because other companies were handling the waves by taking them head-on, but Alex seemed to read the flow of the waves. He never took a wave to the face and his board never flipped over! I think I stayed on the board constantly except for the first couple of times. I didn't think I could surf like that with just one coaching session. Thank you once again to Master, Alex 🙏🏾 David was great from the first meeting! It was my first time traveling alone, so I was hesitant and didn't know what to do, but he always talked to me in a pleasant way, and we shared many stories, from jokes to life. Thousands of photos and videos >_<. Even if you go alone, you'll still have photos! Apart from surfing, the next day I felt symptoms like Bali belly, and I didn't have anyone to ask, so I went to David to ask for the location of a hospital. He took me to the hospital without hesitation and even translated and waited for me. Is there anyone so kind outside of surfing? I was so grateful that I gave him a gift, and David also gave me a gift. I don't know how much I cried that night in my room (｡•́︿•̀｡) Daddy and Mom Surf School, located in Kuta, has warm-hearted instructors. I usually never visit a country twice, but I plan to go to Bali and Kuta many times. I'm even planning to go again in February! I'm leaving with a grateful and joyful heart because they were there to warm up my depressing travel schedule. Thank you again to my friends Alex and David 🩶 See you again! I'll be back!

It is my first time surfing, I was very nervous and scared. Big thank you to the coach, he really have the patience with me and really keep encouraging me. I keep saying Im tired (hahaha not a real sports person actually) but the coach taught me well, he keep me happy, telling me how to enjoy. Big thank you to the coach and the staff helping me to catch nice photo! Will definitely go back to try again (next round I will clear 1 whole day for surfing)!

I'm Korean. I can communicate perfectly fine even if the land explanation is given in English. The explanation was easy to understand, the 1:1 lesson fee was affordable, and it was great that they dedicatedly pushed and pulled the board for me, and told me when to stand up in Korean, saying "Stand up, stand up!" I'm truly satisfied. I recommend the 2-hour lesson. If you leave your phone with them, whether they're staff or not, they take a million photos of you on the beach. I recommend the 2-hour lesson over the 1-hour one! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
