It was a very informational tour and inspirational for the kids as well. Sunset view was amazing! The food though, may need some improvement, especially on the main course. The chicken with cream sauce was overcooked so it was a little tough to eat, the fish that came with the fried rice was too salty and the fried rice was a tad cold but the spring roll was nice and the potato/carrot soup was yummy.
Detailed and informative tour. nice view of sunset and ambience for dinner
Went there to have a sunset dinner, indeed romantic w the sound of the waters flowing and sunset it’s not too hot! lovely day and the historical of the ship:) love it overall food is nice also!
interesting visit. we even met and chatted with the owner of the ship!
the story was amazing. we have enjoyed on the history. for the food we think some dishes can be improved. with the price, we expected for the steak more than chicken and rice as main course. Others is perfect. Staff was very supportive.
The tour of the engine room was so interesting. View from deck was awesome. Though they should make it clear that the dinner is actually in a restaurant at the ground floor. Not on the ship itself. Food was average at best. Also, they should provide kids menu for Child’s tickets instead of adult meals.
When we got to the venue, the staff was not expecting us and we had to talk to three different people to find out what was going on. I was expecting a private tour of the ship hotel but apparently it was a free public tour that starts at 4pm. Since the provided transport pickup time was at 4pm, naturally we were late and initially the staff told me to join the tour halfway, which I wasn’t pleased about since I paid quite good money for a supposedly free tour. Victor the senior marketing exec was kind enough to provide a short private tour and his friendly demeanour put me at ease eventually. for the price paid and the description in the booking page, I was expecting the dinner to be on the ship as well, but sadly it was at the hotel’s separate standalone restaurant overlooking the sea. The food was acceptable but overall I was quite disappointed with this tour. For the price paid, I expected much more than this.
new experience, driver is friendly, food are quite 👍
The tour is highly recommended. The places has a calming effect. The Doulos Phos ship is 2 years younger to Titanic and the owner Eric Saw has maintained the integrity of ship while catering to the modern needs of guests. The staff are also friendlier and accommodating. The food served is great and the view is breathtaking.
The tour was very interesting, very insightful as well. The sunset dinner was great but the dessert part could’ve been better. Other than that everything was so good.
