What to bring
- Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March
- Due to altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March.
- Trekking shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
- You should take medicine with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick.
- Meals Inclusion: One Breakfast (on the second day), 2 Lunch (on the first and second day), and One Dinner (on the first day)
- Single supplement surcharge: 200,000 VND per person, apply for single travelers, pay directly on-site.

May was an excellent guide for this tour. it was very well paced, even though it involved 2 very long bus rides to and from sapa. We were treated really well by all the staff at the restaurants, homestays and of course by May. We were so lucky with the weather and I had so much fun with my group, excellent friends made, excellent experience, if you’re going to sapa I would highly recommend this trip.

If you love trekking and less touristy thing to do in Sapa, you should get this one. Our tour guide, Zizi, was very good - showing us around and down for questions. She takes good pictures too. Thank you Zizi x

The tour comprised of two days of hiking across the mountains, guided by Zum, the local guide. She was lovely, helpful and told us a lot about the history of the local tribes, languages and cultures. The views were amazing and it was really worth it.
The accommodation was very rustic but fully functioning and super clean. The bathroom may look a bit like makeshift, but the hot water works perfectly. Wifi and aircon also work very well. We had no problems at all with anything. The food prepared by the kitchen was amazing and super local, especially the spring rolls. All the staff is super firnedly and we spent a night drinking with them and socialising.

Just wow! Our guide, Chang,was so nice! She let us take pictures and didn't rush us and we still made it on time so that is incredible planning. Best decision to get this package, I just wish I stayed in Sapa. The homestay was in a small accommodation and because I booked for myself I was given a private bungalo, beautiful accommodation! The meal was delicious. They split the groups into smaller groups, so you can to connect with the people you are hiking with. I went around the end of September and think I was lucky to avoid the rain. if you want to swim, then make sure to hike in what you can swim in as it's a 15-30min stop at one of the river ways. However, be mentally prepared for the sleeper buses as you can get thrown side to side inside your bed. bring whatever you need to be comfortable

Overall, the tour is pretty good - local guides with good knowledge of the villages, decent accommodation and food. My only complaint is the return bus - one hour delay and poor condition of the bus.
