Arashiyama Gourmet Coupon + Randen 1 Day Free Ticket

Arashiyama was crowded during 3rd week of March, so I had to return the next day at an earlier time. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the park and the bamboo forest despite the rain. The Randen train was a cute experience. I also enjoyed the food esp the chilled cucumber on a stick.

Good for using the Randen and sampling 3 types of food, but take note that Randen ticket is only redeemable at Arashiyama, so you will still have to pay for ticket to Arashiyama

It was the first time in 6 years!? I was at a loss for a selection of gourmet tours, but I think I was able to go to the best shops. I think it would be even better if there were a few more stores, but I'm at a loss to choose. I would be happy if you could continue in the future!! ️

Very worth the train and snack combo if you will be spending a full day in Arashiyama. the vendors accepting the coupons are so nice and gives you a variety of local snacks.

The train is very comfortable to ride, with spacious seats and a clean cabin that makes the ride smooth and makes the journey even more enjoyable. The service staff are kind and friendly, the time is on time, and the scenery along the way is beautiful. It is a good choice to relax body and mind. Overall, it was a very pleasant travel experience.

great offer, also because of the coupons. there is so much to eat, this introduces you to new treats. only thing what is a bit strange on this deal, is you get a free daypass on the tram, but you have to pay to get to the place where you can get this pass. so you have 1 station you can use as starting point (e.g. Omiya) and the other one on the randen track as ending (Kitano). but Arashiyama where you get the daypass is in the middle!

Nice package. Ticket exchange at Arashimaya Randen station was easy. Randen was a nice experience. Less crowded then the scenic train. Food vouchers were pretty easy to exchange. Food came packed in most stands. Would definitely buy again.

A special memory of a one-car road surface train. Trains go slowly and stop at each station, but Arashiyama is not far, so it is a special experience. I also like the limited-edition gourmet coupon that comes with the sweets. Ah, ice cream, ah, I drank it and got the moon cake.

Ticket exchange locations are not available at every station, so you may need to plan your itinerary in advance……………………..

We enjoyed the randen train ride! Unfortunately on the day we went, 3 of the food operators were closed, but we were able to try out local food from the other operators.
