Great introduction to Taiwan local food and boba. We had Roro as a guide and she is well versed in the local cuisine. Would appreciate more restaurant recommendations from tour guide other than what is part of the tour itinerary.

Fun night out with Josi at the end of March. Tried lots of different street foods. If you don’t know where you are going or what to eat and need a quick sampler, this tour is great. Josi does all the ordering and takes you to the must try stalls. You cover quite a bit of ground walking and eating. Portions aren’t huge but because you visit quite a few places, you do get pretty full by the end of the tour. I enjoyed it so much I joined her lunch tour the next day. Street food is a lot of deep fried snacks so bring some water as you might get a bit thirsty. The lunch tour is more restaurants so you do get to sit down at the restaurant and eat.

Rina's guidance was perfect. I enjoyed hearing various food-related stories and had a fun time in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The night market tour was great, but I also enjoyed the stories about beer and snacks at the convenience store. I wanted to try stinky tofu, but I was hesitant to try it alone because I thought it would be rude to Taiwanese people if I left some uneaten. I'm glad I had the opportunity to try new foods. A food trip worth going. The braised pork rice from "Xiao Wang Zhu Gua" recommended by Michelin is delicious. Because of this food trip, there is a table, no need to wait, the pork in the braised pork rice is half fat and half lean, and the sauce is flavorful. I also tried the stinky tofu, although it was not to my taste, it was still a good experience. Candied haws, scallion pancakes, and fried sweet potato balls are all authentic local snacks and are very delicious.
