Reservation Information
The route from Pohang to Ulleung Island operates at night. Please carefully check the date you select when making a reservation. When boarding a large passenger ship to Ulleung Island, a terminal usage fee of KRW 1,500 is charged (one-way, based on adult fare). This amount is included in the ticket price you purchase.
Important Notes
For ship boarding, please arrive at the ticket office 1 hour before departure to complete boarding procedures and board the ship 10 minutes before departure. If boarding procedures are not completed, you may be denied boarding. Please note that ticket issuance, boarding, and closing times may vary by shipping company, so be sure to check with the relevant company. Ferry schedules may change in advance due to shipping company circumstances or weather conditions. The shipping company will contact you in case of changes. For more detailed information about boarding times, please contact the relevant shipping company. If your stay on Ulleung Island is extended due to ship cancellations caused by bad weather or other natural disasters, the order of departure will be based on the order of arrival on the island. Any additional accommodation and meal expenses during the extended stay on Ulleung Island will be at your own expense.
Guidelines for Boarding with Pets
Only dogs or cats are allowed to board, and it is limited to one pet per passenger. When bringing a pet, please ensure it is placed in a hard cage for boarding. Pets are not allowed in cabins or other common areas on board, except for designated spaces. If you do not follow the pet boarding regulations and enter the cabin with your pet, you may be held responsible. When boarding with a pet, you must fill out a special agreement form regarding pet boarding regulations on-site.

The ferry was on time. Please follow the instructions sent by the ferry company. I use KaKaoTalk but they can send messages via Whatsapp also. It is very simple to exchange the ticket. You need to show your passport and Klook voucher.
I booked a one-way ferry to Ulleungdo and went to 6 people (INSIDE), but fortunately only 4 people were occupied due to Corona. Still, it was a new experience, and it was convenient and well used!
Why doesn't Klook allow changes to be made until the reservation is confirmed? It is cumbersome to cancel and make a reservation again, and the chat consultation connection is not smooth, so if you go out and come in for something else, the chat is gone and it is very inconvenient. And if the reservation is confirmed within 24 hours, 24 hours pass. I need to contact them first and tell them that the reservation confirmation will be delayed because of this and that. Should the buyer take care of everything? In any case, I gave it 4 points because I visited it cheaper than other sites, but please pay attention to the things that need to be corrected.
The schedule of the ferry changed from 23:50 to 23:00 a month ago but nobody informed us or updated the website. Because of this we nearly missed our ferry and made it just by pure luck.
Unfortunately, there's no shuttle bus from or to the train station, or rather, there is one, but no information about it. Unfortunately, booking through Klook didn't work properly either. I booked a cabin for four people and correctly stated that there were three of us. As it turned out, it was only for one person, and I had to pay the extra fee on site. Thanks to the very friendly and helpful staff, and the locals in general, all the challenges were overcome...!
