Reviews
Our ski instructor was Bruce and he was incredible, learnt a lot and had lots of fun learning how to ski! Transport to and from were on time, and everything else was pretty straight forward when we got to the ski field. Dont forget to grab your ski pass in town, saves a lot of time.
We chose the beginner's course, and the instructor guided it very patiently. The course lasted a whole day, with an hour's rest in the middle. It was a great experience. The only drawback is that when checking in, the counter staff could not find our order and it took a long time to confirm that we had purchased the tickets. Therefore, we missed the 10 o'clock class. I hope Klook can cooperate with us in this regard. Good contact/communication at the ski resort.
I was so lucky to have such an amazing instructor, Geordie. He was very meticulous and patient in his teaching, and he also offered a lot of encouragement. The scenery at the ski resort was fantastic, and there was a shuttle service. You need to pick up your ski pass in the city a day in advance. If you forget to pick it up, you can also pick it up at the ski resort on the day, but you'll have to wait in line!! I recommend picking it up the day before so you don't cut into your lesson time.
The Coronet was closed on the day that I booked. I was redirected to the Remarkables instead. The instructor was really good and patient. Went home early than the specified time. Info and Snow rang to check if I was able to board the bus alright. Thanks for the great experience!
The dissatisfaction with this trip is 1) transportation. The bus station I chose happened to be temporarily closed due to construction reasons, but no one informed me where I should change the bus station. I had to call there on the same day and ask proactively; 2) get off the bus. The final arrangements were completely unclear. Coronet Peak had explained that they had to go to the center one day early to get a MyPass to take the cable car, but there was no explanation at all about the arrangements for the day of the course, including where to get off the bus and find the instructor, and what time the class would start. All you have to do is ask the staff yourself! 3) The courses are mainly on shorter ski trails than the instructors. It takes 4 hours to teach there, which feels very boring~ However, the equipment included in this course is still very good, all from the ski-specific brand Burton, and the staff Will help you adjust your skateboard on the spot
Fantastic day. Bus driver was very accommodating. Coronet skiing was stunning and the instructor “Liv” was very patient with our group of beginners. Mulled wine after the session topped it off. Big tick - able to steer, stop and didn’t fall once!
It was a great experience. Thanks Charlie - our coach for his great coaching experience.
Great for beginners, the instructor was friendly and patient. Highly recommended.
Our instructor wasn't very enthusiastic to teach us. Nonetheless, did provide us with the lesson. Good value for money when booking though klook. Went to the ski centre to get our passes - klook made a mistake on my friends name? It took a while to find her ski pass...we got it in the end.
1star because I couldn’t give 0. initially booked for 15/7, I was contacted quickly that 15/7 was unable, to rebook to 16/7. what’s more terrible was we asked to be put with our young child (5) and we were reassured that it would not be an issue, just to let the people at 25 shotover st know on the day. the day prior to rebooked lesson, I received no communication. I went to snow centre guest services, they did not seem to understand my Klook voucher. I was told that adults and children would be completely separate and to change to private lesson. thinking it was all same company still, I paid for it. it incurred extra $570 on top of the 770+ i paid Klook. at the end, they noticed that we were not booked on bus for 16/7 lesson, and told me to go to info&snow to check. at info & snow, I found out that they were yet another party in this chaos. Klook description should clearly state that child and adult in the family would be separate when booking this package. it would save me $770!
