Bali Fishing Trip

I had a great time the skipper and I caught 10 fish. Captian Petuk really know the fishing grounds well. Driver ketuk on time and funny guy we had a good laugh at lunch. The local restaurant cooks some of your fish for lunch I had grilled Barracuda and grilled Armoured Gunard very rare fish as well as Groper soup all were very nice. I will definitely book again next time and recommend to everyone. I also took a Red Snapper and Gurnard back to hotel who grilled them for me and all the other customers were so jealous of my meal.😁😁😁 Any left overs I gave to the staff to share and they were very happy also.

The captain said that he is a hereditary second-generation old fisherman and captain, and he is indeed very professional and can do it as soon as he takes the bait! admire. The driver picked us up from the hotel on time and took us to the pier. We just saw the sunrise when we boarded the boat🌅. The boat is a speedboat, and there are only four of us guests, plus two crew members, so it becomes a private speedboat sea fishing trip. Since there is no sonar detection on board. Which sea area has fish depends on the experience of the crew, but the waves were very strong that day. As a result, after four hours of swimming on the sea, we only caught three fish. The child said that this was very, very lucky. The equipment on the boat was not enough, and there were only three people on the crew fishing. But in the end, there were no fish spindles, and I couldn't catch any fish even if I wanted to. I was very disappointed. The itinerary said that snacks and drinks were included, but no one offered to provide them to us. We only saw them on the boat and the crew members eating them themselves, but I didn’t know if they were prepared for us, so when the children wanted to eat, they had to ask the crew members for them. The crew's English skills were average and communication was not very smooth, so we didn't communicate much. We all fished by ourselves without anyone's guidance. Although the crew fished together, they didn't catch any fish. The itinerary said that lunch was included, but no one paid attention to us after we landed. After we asked the waiter at the pier, lunch was provided, but there was a processing fee for the fish we caught. After communication, I was told that the processing fee would not be charged. However, the lunch provided only consisted of steamed three fishes we caught, chili sauce and rice drinks. The rest was nothing, which was very disappointing. It felt like the entire trip only provided driver transfers, boats and fishing tools, but the equipment was not enough. Everything else was self-service, with no greeting, no fishing guidance, and no service. I was very disappointed with the entire itinerary.

Perfect activity in BALI for me. It was a memorable day.Because I've never experienced before about traditional fishing ever. The fishing itself was fun, and the crew was friendly. However, although lunch was included, we only received the fish we caught and white rice. On top of that, we were charged Rp250,000 for the fish to be cooked.

Life jackets weren't offered proactively. It was very windy and there was no anchor dropped, so fishing was impossible. The shuttle was good. The lunch was simple, but acceptable. Using chicken as bait was odd; hopefully squid will be used next time.
