Mangrove Forest SUP (Paddle Board) experience

Very peaceful and beautiful scenery. No guide accompanying me after I mentioned that I have paddling experience. No life jacket was offered as it was assumed that I would know what to do if I capsize in the mangrove area or out at the beach if the wind and current are stronger. Other than the general direction of the mangrove forest and beach, no other info was offered. Anyway, it was a lovely experience which I would do again if I'm in Koh Chang again and would recommend to anyone who's interested in a great SUP paddling day trip. And the lunch thereafter at Iyara seafood restaurant was yummy albeit too salty for my taste.

It's super fun, and it also includes hotel pick-up and drop-off, which is very, very convenient. SUP will not be difficult, the coaches are very attentive to teaching, and will help to take pictures, it is also ok to play by yourself, not afraid of not having beautiful photos. It costs 2,500 to play in Taiwan, but it doesn’t cost 400 here. It’s super cheap, and klook booking is more cost-effective than on-site.

Even though I am not good at Thai or English, he kindly explained things using body language. He proceeded in a leisurely manner and took some nice pictures. Thank you.

It's easy enough for beginners and it's really fun! You can even swim in the river water so clear you can see the bottom :)

Fun SUP experience, we stayed in Iyara seafood restaurant for dinner after our sunset SUP through the mangrove forest and near the beach. Highly recommended.

It was my first time standing on a SUP, but the staff gave me detailed support and I was able to enjoy both the mangroves and the ocean views. It was nice to be able to relax because we had the place to ourselves.

It was a good time to ride a paddle board along the mysterious river.
