Reviews
The driver was very punctual, we arrived ten minutes earlier than the notified time and the driver also arrived at the same time. The itinerary was well arranged. The first stop was breakfast and a visit to the historical red brick bridge in the town. Then go to Wineglass Bay and walk for about half an hour to the observation deck. If it takes two hours to go back and forth to Wineglass Bay, you will have enough time. If you don’t go to Wineglass Bay, the driver will drive to Honeymoon Bay, where you can swim or relax. Finally, go to the winery to enjoy the beautiful scenery and delicious food to end the day's trip.
Good experience with friendly guide and relaxing itinerary. Had a stopover at cellar door with nice view for lunch in the end, which is a plus
i enjoyed the tour. the road was bumpy in some places but manageable overall. Jes was a great guide, very knowledgeable and fun. the beach was beautiful with crystal-clear waters.
Pickup from our hotel accommodation was great and much appreciated. Friendly guide. A pity that when we visited Devil’s corner, the place was closed due to the lack of power, and we couldn’t go in for some wine tasting or oysters. But that was beyond the control of the travel company.
Hike up to wineglass Bay lookout was worth it. You could choose to do a longer hike to Wineglass Bay itself but that will take around 2 hours. We decided to follow the guide in visiting the lighthouse and honeymoon bay.
This trip requires pre-planning! There is no lunch to buy in the national park. You have a 30min stop in a small town to buy drinks&lunch. DO NOT buy hot drinks, the road is very bumpy and you will spill! First we went to a lighthouse, nice lookout point (wheelchair friendly, 20min walk). The stop after is for the Wineglass Bay Lookout, you get ~2h45min here. This is a HIKE, not a walk. It takes about 45mins to reach the lookout point, our guide was very fast and consistently starting to walk when the last person in the group reached the stop point or even left the whole group behind. You need to be in good physical condition to continue the hike down to the beach for another 30-45 mins, then back the same way. Then stopped at Honeymoon Bay for 10-15mins. After that we arrived at Devil's Corner vineyard by 2.30pm & had 40mins here for late lunch/wine. Arrived back to Launceston before 5pm. The guide explained a lot, but was wearing a mask in the bus and no mic, so not loud enough.
Our guide was awesome and very passionate about the nature. We had an enjoyable time on the trip. The hike up to Wineglass Bay Lookout was manageable
Graeme (hope I got the spelling right, pardon me if not) has a vast knowledge of Tasmania. Very punctual and professional, leaving us with plenty of time to explore Freycinet and Devil’s Corner. 😎✌️👍😍
The whole tour was worth it, but the tour guide drove too fast, and also the seat of the van was uncomfortable.
Graham is amazing and FIT! itinerary is well planned and Graham is very informative.
