Reviews summaryon time. wait in Tom’s Cafe. if you want to sit & wait in the cafe, you have to order. if not, they will ask you to wait on the side. no food & drinks inside the bus. a platic is given for your shoes. 2 twenty-minute bus stops. toilet charges 3000VND/pax. once you get off, crate of slippers to change or you can bring your shors down. good wifi. space fits 5’0- 5’2 for double bed/single bed. no bus driver reliever for the bus driver, so be kind to him having been driving for 6 hrs
CSO will Whatsapp you the details day before. We went to the meeting place (Tom's Cafe) at 6.10am. There are seats available beside the cafe. The bus arrived at 6.15am. I requested a lower bunk for my wife whose knee is bad (also elderly), which the CSO arranged for both of us, which was really great. Bus left at 6.40am (supposed to leave at 6.30 departure time), however a couple of guys arrived late. The journey took 6 hours and there were 2 stops, where you can go relieve yourself or get food (toilet is 3000VND per person). Also note that you have to take off your footwear and placed in plastic bag (provided) before boarding. At pit stop it can be a hassle taking off and putting on your shoes. We circumvent this by boarding in slippers. On board, they provide a blanket and a charging port. No pillow, no tv, no massage capabilities, very basic. Service is great and price is right.
“Perfect for someone like me who loves to just lie down during a bus trip. Comfy seats, two bottles of water, the beautiful mountain views, and the temperature inside was just right. Highly recommended!
Booked this the second time around because of good service. Friendly staff and very approachable, left my jacket in my seat but the staffs were very open and immediate in responses to make sure it was returned to me. Would definitely recommend.
redemption was easy and smooth. free use of VIP lounge for waiting, but lounge was small, just a waiting room, nothing special. bed was comfortable, ride was rocky. cabin was clean. was an enjoyable experience
nice experience! but next time i will try limousine car ehhehe. staff are nice.. no traffic from Sapa to Hanoi Airport… but the wifi in the bus didn’t function.. i don’t know why.. luckily we have our pocket wifi… most of the time we slept in the bus…next time i will ask the driver why there is no wifi.. thank you sleeper BUS!!! best!
Everything else is great, the size of the cabin, the speed of the bus, the schedule, and it's good that there were 2 stopovers. The only thing that we didn't like is bed, or the upper part of the bed. I just wish it could be adjusted, but it was flat and can't be adjusted.
The Hanoi sleeper bus for a 6-hour journey is quite an experience in Vietnam. Sapa is accessible mainly by bus, so if you need to rest, a cabin sleeper is the best and most comfortable way to travel as a commuter. I suggest booking Inter Bus Line for the best trip.
Bus is super comfy, and modernly designed. It was a great experience travelling in this bus from Hanoi to Sapa!
We had a pleasant experience with Interbus Lines and found it to be one of the most affordable sleeper bus options. Although our original 10:00 PM departure was delayed and we ended up leaving around 11:00 PM, the trip was comfortable enough that we slept almost the entire journey and arrived in Sapa at around 5:45 AM. The beds were cozy, and complimentary water and blankets were provided, which made the overnight ride more convenient.
